Huddled in a corner,
Silence haunting her thoughts,
She listened with her eyes,
She saw it happen in slow motion,
That dead read splattering throughout,
She stopped watching as that cold killing scrap of metal
Was now the only noise she heard,
She heard that life ending "click",
Images flashed as the deafening silence
Came back through the pandemonium.
Opening her tear filled windows
Blue and read flashes were seen against the wall,
The metal was gone,
Along with the hunters.
She lay covered with that sticky redness,
Putrid smells,
And horrid memories,
She stands
Alone.
