Kim was relaxing out in the bright near-summer sun near the lake. She let her mind wander over Transfiguration and DADA classes, past her worries that the Giant Squid would eat her, what people would think when they saw her blonde hair snarled up from the grass, and onto her favorite topic: Fred Weasley. She could just imagine his slightly wavy deep red hair that flowed to a point just above his shoulders, and his mischevous, throaty laugh when he pulled a prank. George was fun too, but in their classes together, which were rare because she was in Hufflepuff, it was always Fred that made Kim laugh the most. Some of the mistakes that Kim had made had inspired a few of the twins' pranks or products, although she didn't know this. Kim relaxed and let the golden sunlight work its magic. She felt it dapple onto her lips and her bare legs, and she could feel it warming the thin eyelids that covered her dazzling blue eyes from the glare. She dug her fingers deep into the turf and let out a deep sigh. She could practically feel the lush green color of the spring. Just as Kim felt as one with the universe, someone tapped her shoulder, scaring the living daylights out of her. She immediately sat up, but was blinded by the bright sun. She was just starting to yell at the person who had disturbed her at the top of her lungs when her eyesight returned to normal and she saw an amused Fred not five inches from her face. "I just thought you should know, Kimmy dear, that the Giant Squid is preparing to sneak up on you and drag you to your premature, watery death," Fred said with a hint of humor. Kim spun her head around, and indeed, the Giant Squid was waving its tentacles high in the air by the shore where she was currently laying. She yelped and jumped backwards, conveniently into the waiting arms of her favorite ginger...
