Prologue- The Crush
"Ryou," Mina handed Ryou a folded note," I'm so sorry. I only think of you as a friend."
"O-okay." Ryou took the note, his face blood red.
"Are you still meeting me and the gang at the track meet tonight?" she asked, trying to lighten the mood.
"Um…yeah," he answered.
"Alright, I'll see you at seven! Bye!" Mina jogged after Shina, who had gone ahead.
Ryou leaned against a brink wall and tried to cool off his face, which he was failing miserably at. 'Well, this stinks.'
'I could help you get your flower,' Bakura said in Ryou's mind.
'I don't trust you! You'll hurt her!'
'You never trust me. I'm like your brother, love.'
Ryou gave a small growl. He really liked Mina so he chose to give in. 'Fine, but if you hurt her then I'll banish you to the Shadow Realm myself.'
Bakura chuckled. 'I understand completely.'

"Woo! GO JOEY!!" Mina and Shina cheered.
"Uh…guys…he's not even on the field yet," Yugi pointed out.
Mina and Shina sat back down. Mina laughed. "Heheh, oh, why don't you tell us these things."
Shina rubbed her head, chuckling as she stood up. "I'm going to get a coffee." Shina walked to the concession stand.
"Hey, guys," Ryou greeted his friends as he walked up to them. Beside him was a very much real Bakura.
"Bakura?!" Yugi gasped, staring at Yami's enemy. Yami, in turn, was jaw dropped.
"Whoa! He's all-REAL-and stuff." She wiggled her arms to emphasis 'real'.
Barkua shot a joke to her. "I was pretty real last night. Remember, love?"
"Oh yeah." Mina smirked his way. "I still can't get my underwear off the ceiling fan."
Tristan jumped from his spot. "Bullshit!" Poor guy still had a crush on Mina and wasn't ready to give her up for an ex-thief.
The two males took a seat, Ryou next to Yugi and Bakura next to Mina. Shina was back and gave Bakura a strange look as she sat down. She shook her head though, she had gotten used to strange things since she moved to Domino.
As the track meet started, and Mina's friends cheered as Joey came on the field, Bakura whispered something soft and sensually in Mina's ear.
"How about after this, you and me get away. There's something I want to talk to you about."
