Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of either Avatar the Last Airbender or the Scorpion King, only the story. Mathayus in Place of Aang
Mathayus had just escaped his capture from Prince Memnon's clutches, but after being stranded on the ship and his bison still incoming, he had to defend himself from the prince's attacks.
Prince Memnon used two sword strokes mixed with fire, which Mathayus was able to parry with his staff. But on the third flaming sword strike, Memnon knocked the staff out of his hands. Mathayus had to dodge two more fire strikes and then jumped over a flaming sweep kick. His jump had him landing on the ship's railing. Memnon then sent another fire fist followed by a flaming high kick. The second attack caused him to faint from the head and Mathayus fell overboard.
From up on the bison, Arpid looked really worried as Cassandra shouted, "Mathayus! No!"
As he sank deeper into the depths of the cold ocean, a barely conscious could still hear Cassandra's cries, "Mathayus! Mathayus! MATHAYUS!"
The last one seemed to do the trick as Mathayus's eyes snapped open and glowed white. His face looked seriously angry as he righted himself in the water and then started to swirl himself and the water to shoot up. His spiral soon broke the surface of the water and then Mathayus used waterbending to arch the water spout towards the ship.
Prince Memnon looked in fear and amazement as Mathayus came down to the deck of the ship. Through a motion of his hands, he made the water circle around his person. Then expanding the water, he knocked the soldiers off their feet as he knocked Memnon over the side. Memnon yelled as he went over.

Author's Note: I had to give Mathayus and Memnon some bending to make it sound more like the part for the scene. I also know that Cassandra and Arpid aren't really brother and sister, they were just the first people to come into my head. I look forward to reading your reviews.
