Suumary:

She failed them. So many died. Her friends. Her family. Strangers. She failed them. She gave her life and ended the war. They won, and yet they still lost.

If you could go back and prevent a war, would you do it? If you could try again, be better, would you?

The Wizarding World better watch out because she's not the naive little girl she was the first time around. She's going to take the world by storm.

Warnings: Fem!Harry, Manipulative!Dumbledore, Some Weasley bashing, Ron Bashing, Harry is going to be a lot stronger, slow updates?, ranting, possible swears

Fem!Harry is going to have all her memories and she isn't very innocent, but you have to remember she is in a younger body, so don't expect her to act like a perfect, mature adult. She'll probably embrace her Marauder heritage more.

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. Thank you J.K. Rowling for creating this world.

Pain wracked her body as she looked out over the destruction. Tears streamed down her face, leaving trails in the dirt and blood layering it. She struggled to breathe, broken ribs.

She limped across the field of bodies toward the castle — maybe someone survived — eyes unfocused. So many glaringly familiar faces — almost unrecognizable in the heat of battle — now commanding her attention. Too many faces… too many dead.

She knows she's in pain — how is she still standing? — she feels so numb

It's harder to breathe now. Black spots appear at the edge of her vision. She coughs — a wet, harsh cough — and spits out blood.

Her body crumpled. Her emerald eyes stared listlessly at the brightening sky, watching the sun rise over her home, and she knew no more.

Hi, so this story has been bouncing around in my head for a while. I decided to write it. I'm (probably) only posting the first chapter until I write out most of the book. That way I can post on a schedule. Please be patient with me. And thank you for reading this far.

Also the story stays mostly canon at first to — hopefully — a new spin on an old plot.
