Why do I hate Zelda? (I mean the princess, I absolutely ADORE the games...) I sorta had a dream two months ago about Princess Zelda, one which made me hate her guts... This would actually be oringinal poetry if it weren't for the fact that Princess Zelda is mentioned... Dark. Please do not flame me, for this is my opinion. If you like Princess Zelda, then I don't mind... Also, if you like my work, please add me to your faves list!! ^_^
Something to help clear up the confusion: Apparently, Link's best friend dies, killed by the popular group within the school. Princess Zelda, being in the popular group, accuses him of killing the girl, and lables him an outlaw.

Title: All alone, a Misunderstanding

I stand by her cold body,
Icy death has her within it's grips.
I stand there, tears in my eyes,
All alone, a misunderstanding.
My only best friend in this cruel world
Gone, departed, never to come back.
No one bothers to grieve for her, I am
All alone, trapped in a misunderstanding.
Voices fly my way,
Down the hall stands the Princess of Hyrule.
The group fake gasps, one even cries fake tears.
For I am the only one, a misunderstanding.
Hushed voices whisper.
Came from the mouth of the Princess was a scream.
A shaking white finger was pointed at me,
'Cause I'm all alone, misunderstood.
"You killed her!" she shrieks,
The rest of the popular girls nod.
I silently shake my head, not daring to believe that I'm
All alone, a misunderstanding.
Marching down the hallway,
Arms pinned to my sides.
Zelda's face slightly sneers, 'Cause I'm
All alone, the misunderstanding.
The popular girls silently giggle.
"Two brats will be out of our way.
No one will defend you because
You were all alone, a big misunderstanding."
"We killed her.
No one will realize,
No one will point.
We're not alone, we're not a misunderstanding."
I look at the ground,
Tears fall to the floor.
Zelda's steps slightly falter, realizing that she, too,
Is all alone, a misunderstanding.
I am thrown to my knees,
At the mercy of the court.
"Did you do it?" they ask, faces as stone.
I wanted to cry out, "I was all alone, it's a misunderstanding."
All I can do is softly ask,
"Tell them Zelda, tell them, Princess."
"Tell them who really did it."
"Tell them that I was all alone, that it's a misunderstanding."
Feet are scuffled,
Eyes are flashing in anger.
"It's a lie, Princess!
He was all alone, we're misunderstood!"
She looks me in the face,
Unwanted Destiny staring me in the eyes.
"It was he who did it." she softly gives the verdict.
"He was all alone."
The verdict comes in,
I am to be put to death.
I close my eyes, darkness falling,
Crying: "It's a misunderstanding!"
Cruel eyes look at me,
Sneering mouths smile at me.
Zelda broadly grins, "Hope you go to Hell".
But...
I'm all alone in this world,
All alone in my life.
It was just a misunderstanding....
