Rapunzel, and a scissor?
Once upon a time, there was a man and a woman; they both desperately wanted a child. But it had to be a boy, because a boy could help by getting a job so he could earn some money.
When the woman got pregnant, they couldn't describe how happy they were, but when the time came for her to give birth, they found out that it was a girl.
What was they supposed to do with a girl, a girl couldn't get a job. Luckily for the man and the woman, there lived an evil fairy outside town. So in the middle of the night the man took the baby and left it outside the fairy's house and then he ran for it.
You couldn't say that the fairy was happy about it, but she kept the baby anyway and she called the little girl for Rapunzel. When Rapunzel turned twelve, the fairy locked her up in a tower, the funny thing with this tower was that there was not even a door or a staircase, the only exit there was, was a window.
So Rapunzel couldn't get out, but the fairy could get in. She had cast a spell on Rapunzel, so that her hair would grow long and strong. So whenever the fairy wants to get in she called out: "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, so that I may climb the golden stair"
And when Rapunzel heard that, she rolled out her hair, and dropped it out the window, so that the fairy could climb up the hair to Rapunzel.
This scene went on for years, but then one year it was not the fairy that climbed up Rapunzels hair, no it was a prince. The prince had been lost for days, when he heard the fairy. He ran to see what she was shouting for, and when he saw, what she was shouting for, he fell in love. For what he saw was the most beautiful girl, he had ever seen, so he stayed where he was, till it was dark.
When darkness came, he went to the window and said the words, he had heard the fairy say. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, so that I may climb the golden stair"
And down came the most beautiful hair, it looked like a big rope, so he began to climb up her hair. When Rapunzel felt the weight on her hair, she went to the window to see who it was, because it couldn't be the fairy, she couldn't have put on weight that fast.
"Hey! Who do you think you are? Climbing other people's hair like that" she yelled.
"I am a prince, and…." But before he could finish, Rapunzel yelled at him again.
"I do not care who you are, it is not very nice when people climb my hair"
"But the fairy did it" the prince said.
"So? She do not weigh a ton does she?" said Rapunzel.
The prince tried to answer, but Rapunzel was not in a very good mood, and she really wanted him to leave. "Have you any idea how painful it is with you hanging in my hair? No I do not think so. So it you do not mind, I will like you to let go of my hair, and get lost!"
But the prince was full of confidence and said "I really do not think that you mean that. I think that you like me and want me to come up to you"
But Rapunzel was very angry now. "Really! What does it take to get rid of you?" she cried.
"You could cut off your hair" said the prince and smiled to him self.
"Hey! That's a pretty good idea" she said.
Then she went to her pocket and took out a scissor and cut off her hair, the last thing she heard from the prince was his scream, and then he hit the ground.
Rapunzel smiled to herself and said "That will teach him not to climb in other people's hair."
The End….
