The Search for Candie Fox

It is after the battle between Humans and Robots. A time of peace. But someone we all know, maybe a little too well, has escaped from prison and has kidnapped one of Astro's closest friends: Candie Fox! It's up to him to save her. Or will he be the one in need of saving...? (Candie is a friend from a website called ColorsLive. Her username on there is candie zombie.)

I looked around for Candie, my head spinning. "Candie-san! CANDIE-SAN!" I used my scanner as I searched through the crowd. "Candie-san! Where are you?!"

"ASTRO!"

Whirling around, I raced toward the scream. "Candie-san! I'm coming!" I shouted, carefully pushing past people. "Excuse me! Comin' through!" My kokoro pounded in my chest. 'Please be okay. Just BE OKAY.'

I stopped at the entrance of an abandon store. Making sure no one was watching, I lifted the metal door up and entered. It was freezing, even for me, a robot! Shivering, I continued looking around with my scanner activated.

The sound of a can being kicked echoed. I stiffened, knowing it wasn't me who had kicked it. "Candie-san... you there...?" I called out, somewhat regretting it.

Sure. Call out when you're friend is being held by lunatics, who could very well hurt you as well. I just love how smart I am under stress.

"Candie Fox isn't here, Astro," someone said from behind. Before I could react, robot dogs jumped out from the darkness and tackled me to the ground. They started shocking me like I'd seen Pikachu do in countless Pokémon episodes.

Warnings appeared in my right eye, and right then and there, I was scared. I had never been this damaged. Unless you count the bomb I kept from hitting Robotonia.

And as all of me senses were fading, I heard a familiar chuckle.

'No!' I screamed in my head. 'It can't be... Tenma!'

I lost consciousness.
