Aesthetic On Point
I stumbled into the apartment, closing the door with a sigh. Today has been a particularly long day; all I wanted to do was eat dinner and flop into bed. Philip approached me with a smile on his face. "Hello, A package arrived today, it's a new piece of artwork I ordered online last week. Its hanging in the lounge if you want to see it" he said as he walked towards the lounge. Philip is known for buying random, yet amazing, items. I walked in expecting another merchandise piece of artwork, or a painted dog, however this one fell under either of these categories.
It was hanging over the couch, in massive a golden frame. It was massive, but it was the picture inside of the frame I was captivated by. It wasn't a single picture; it was a giant collage of pictures. Philip knows about my love for Tumblr's photo collages which are themed around a subject called aesthetics. He saved all of my favorite aesthetics, and created one about us, put it all together into one huge collage. From far away, it just looks like an explosion of shapes and colors; it's only up close that you can see its true beauty.
Still in amazement, I climbed onto the couch to get a better look at the different aesthetics. I could see all my favorite ones: Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Philip and his roommate Daniels branding, various books/ reading in general, music pages, and Autumn. It took me a little while to finish looking at them all and deciphering them. I looked at Philip smiling, my eyes watering out of the sheer beauty of what I just studied. "I love it, thank you so much." He grinned back at me, saying "You're welcome, start collecting more on tumblr and we can order a second one. We can start a collection of these as well as dog and merchandise art. It's time you contribute to this apartments artwork." I couldn't contain my excitement as I hugged him, then began scrolling through tumblr to save some more.
