Discovery

Summery: Mel and Sally make a shocking discovery. Set three months after "Smash And Grab".

Pairing: Mix (Millie and Max)
Mel was just coming off her shift for the day when she heard someone calling for her. She turned and saw Sally approaching her. "Hey Mel, listen I was just talking to Rodger and he says that Millie's been acting strange ever since that whole Jade Hopkins incident" Sally told Mel. "Well it was probably a very traumatic experience for her. She probably just needs a little time" "Yes I know but she would have talked to some one about it. Rodger says that she's been distant and distracted and I tried asking her to come out a few times but she keeps saying no" Sally kept talking as the girls reached the female locker room.
"Maybe we should talk to her, ask if anything's wrong" suggested Mel. "Well Millie finishes right about now so she should be in the locker room". Mel and Sally walked pushed the door open and walked in. Anyone walking by the locker room would heard shrieking and saw Mel and Sally rush out and slam the door. "Oh My God, that was unbelievable" Sally kept on gasping for breath. "Well at least now we know why Millie's been acting weird lately" Mel said. Sally looked at the door. "You can come out now" she called out.
The locker room door opened slowly and Millie stepped out, clothes and hair rumpled and cheeks red with embarrassment. "And?" Sally called out. The door opened slowly again and out stepped an equally rumpled and embarrassed DS Max Carter. "So which one of you wants to tell me how long this has been going on for?" asked Mel grinning at the pair. "Ever since that night I was rescued. Max came by and we talked and one thing led to another…." Millie told the girls as she looked at Max a dreamy look in her eyes. "We wanted to keep it to ourselves for a little while so we could see where it might lead but somehow I don't think we're going to be able to stop you ladies from spreading this around" Max said. Mel and Sally looked at each other. "No" they said simultaneously. They started to leave but Sally turned back. "Just promise us that we won't catch you two at it in the locker room ever again" Sally giggled. Max and Millie blushed as Mel and Sally walked off laughing.
