Chell came out of the elevator, which was cleverly disguised as a shed, and looked around. She lost her Portal Gun when she sent Wheatley into space. So she only had the clothes on her back. And her handy Long Fall Boots, of course. Chell heard a sound from the shed, and was surprised when a burned Companion Cube came out of the shed. It was her Companion Cube. That she burned in the incinerator when she went through GLaDOS' testing track all that time ago before her adventures where she supposedly had brain damage. "Ha, brain damage my foot..." She muttered, picking up her Companion Cube and continuing in a random direction. After what seemed to be an hour, Chell saw something fall from the sky, creating a large explosion. She ran over to it, and found...Her Portal Gun. "Guess she wasn't kidding when she said these things still work up to four thousand degrees Kelvin..." She grinned, picking up the Portal Gun, and picking up the Companion Cube with it, and continued wandering aimlessly, wondering if she would ever find civilization. Chell ended up losing the Companion Cube along the way. She guessed GLaDOS fizzled it remotely. She finally saw a city in the distance. Aperture was only the start of her adventures...
