Kirihara Akaya rest his back on a fence. He saw the watch that showing 6.30 p.m. 'Ttaku, where is he?' the boy muttered. Kirihara turned after he heard someone.
'You're early.'
Hiyoshi Wakashi stood in front of him with his Hyotei uniform.
'You'd finished practice?'
'F'course. That's why I come.'
The blondy boy rest beside Kirihara, 'Anyway, what're you going to talk about?'
'Oh! Well, ... that is...'
Kirihara and Hiyoshi had been friends for a long time. Even their schools are seperated, even they just had few times to both gather, still, they were friends until now. After Rikkai's or Hyotei's practice, they would come to a river nearby. Then Kirihara and Hiyoshi would chat or exchange information each other. They were really tight, just like a stamp and an envelope.
'WHAT?'
Kirihara sighed, 'That's what I'm going to talk about.'
Looks like Hiyoshi was shocked deeply, 'You'll... move... to... England?'
'Yeah, that's true. Otou-san told me last night.'
'But why anyway? Didn't you want to struggle Rikkai-to fight me in the future?'
'That's true, but...' Kirihara sighed, 'I know I should stay here. But Otou-san can't unschedule this. We have to move for his new job.'
'New job?'
'Yeah, he said he had a problem on his job here, so he searched for another job outside... and,'
'... and he did it, right?'
'Yep. True.'
The boys silented a while. The river's stream flew over and over. The quiet fogged them on their evening. It's almost sunset.
'Then, what're you going to do?'
Kirihara looked to Hiyoshi, 'What the...?'
'Now, what're you going to do?'
'What do you mean?'
Hiyoshi looked at the Rikkai's ace, 'You're just planning to tell me this?'
That's right, he didn't even give Hiyoshi something. But Kirihara reminded, he still had a plenty of Marui's tart from the practice, and also a silver pocket with their photo inside it. Probably he should give it to him.
'These are for you.' Kirihara handed his best friend the gifts. Hiyoshi put his confuse face, 'What are these?'
'Just open it.'
Suddenly the Hyotei's future captain smirked.
'Thanks for the pocket.'
'No problem. I was planning to give the pocket to you, but I always forgot.'
The boys chuckled, 'Hey, I remember we got the picnic together on the hill that day, right?'
'Yeah, and the bears stole our sandwich and we didn't have any lunch that day!'
They laughed, and smirked each other. Kirihara laid out his hands and put them on Hiyoshi's shoulder, 'I won't forget you, my best friend.'
'Me too.'
'We'll be best friend forever, Wakashi. Agree?'
'Absolutely.'
Both of them smiled. And they hugged each other.
