Prologue.
Warnings: Mentions of self-harm, emotional!Germany, human names, etc. Germancest if you squint.
"West..." You mumble, staring at the floor as your long bangs cover your eyes, your footsteps silent as you walk bast the man on the couch.
"East." He mutters, closing his book as he stands, following you to your bedroom.
"Vhat happened to you... ? It's been years..."
"N-Nothing, bruder." You mutter, the blonde sighing slightly as he puts a single finger beneath your head, lifting it up. He gasps as your bangs fall away from your face, his pale blue eyes locking with your red one.
"Bruder..." His eyes become teary as he wraps his strong arms around your waist, hugging you hard as tears begin to spill. You do nothing a she cries, standing there numbly as his tears stain your shoulder, trickling down your arm like your own blood had done not long ago.
"Bruder..." You mumble, looking over at the blonde, the teary, sniveling ball of blankets on the couch looking up at you. He winces as he catches a glimpse of your eyepatch - the square of black material strapped to your head haphazardly, looking rushed.
"I... I'm sorry. For not calling you..." You mutter darkly, looking away as you pull at the sleeves of your long-sleeved top, the thin fabric hiding tattoos, scars, bruises and deep lacerations running in every direction along your skin.
"I-It's alright." He mumbles, motioning for you to join him on the couch. You go over carefully, sitting beside him, his arms wrapping around you. You tense slightly as you feel him squeeze around your waist, your teeth finding your gum, chewing anxiously at it. You hug back hesitantly, closing your eye as the boy begins to cry again, his shaking figure clinging to you as he sobs. You take him into your lap and hold him, allowing him to dirty you with his tears and emotions as he lets it all out.
When he stops, he looks up at you, eyes wide and fearful.
"Vh-Vhat happened...?"
"Vell..." You sigh a little, staring down at him, licking at the inside of one of your lip piercings, "... It all started when I met Arthur Kirkland."
A/N: I am really, really hoping this fanfiction works out for me because I really want it to and I really like the idea of it and I just... *squee*
I've already written the first two chapters (prologue ftw), but I haven't checked through them and such, as well as the fact that the second chapter (at the moment) is horribly-written and just doesn't make sense. When I'm in a writing mood next, I'll have to try fix it up and/or re-write it, because it's kinda nagging at me.
Anyways, reviews are always awesomely good and there is nothing wrong with question asking and oh fuck I'm rambling.
Laters,
-Nimu.
