Remembering
This took me twenty minutes to write. I didn't really like it, but then I had my friend read it, and she told me to post it. So, here I am. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia.
"Ma-Matthew!" Francis shouted. "What's gotten into you? This is crazy!"
Matthew just smiled and said , "Now people will remember me." He cleaned off his knife.
"Matthew. Calm down. Even if you do this, people still might not remember you." Francis said, trying to keep his voice calm and steady. "Please stop."
"Why should I?" He shouted. "You always preferred Sey and Monaco! Even you forgot I existed. No one cares about me. No one remembers me!" A single tear fell from his face. "No one remembers me."
"Now Mattie. That's not true. What about Alfred? And Cuba? They remember you."
Matthew shook his head. "They don't. Alfred doesn't see me, and Cuba thinks I'm Alfred. NO ONE remembers me." Matthew wiped away his tears. "Now, if I kill you and Arthur, people will remember me." The evil glint in his eye returned. He walked slowly forward, holding his knife threateningly. "Now, you get to die. Slowly and painfully. Just like Arthur."
"Francis sighed. "Fine. I can tell there's no reasoning with you. Kill me. I don't mind you dying if it satisfies you." Francis smiled, the soft, warm, friendly smile Matthew had seen when he was a child. "Just remember, I love you very much, and never forget your papa. OK Mon cher?"
For a second, but just a second, Francis thought he saw Matthew pause. Then everything went black.
Well, that looked longer when I wrote it out. If you review, I won't send Murderer!Canada after you. ^^
