1. John taught the boys how to act as anything they wanted – because their job entitled it.
2. John taught the boys which people to avoid – because it was easier to not draw attention to themselves by hanging with the wrong crowd.
3. John taught the boys how to hide the Impala – because they needed to attack in secret.
4. John taught the boys how to dress the part – because you needed to be convincing in order to win people over.
5. John taught the boys how to fight – because it was easier then not knowing.
6. John taught the boys how to know when they were being followed – because knowing you might be attacked was better then not knowing what hit you.
7. John taught the boys how to give medical help – because with the job came many 'bumps and bruises'.
8. John taught the boys how to fix up their cars – because they didn't need to be waiting for any repairman to do it.
9. John taught the boys how to respect the dead – because you never know when they want to come back and teach you a lesson or two.
10. John taught the boys how to do laundry – because all their blood-stained shirts needed to be cleaned somehow.
11. John taught the boys how to shop for jewelry – just in case their 'Mary' came along.
12. John taught the boys how to shoot a gun – for self-protection.
13. John taught the boys how to use a knife – just incase a gun wasn't there.
14. John taught the boys how to drive a car – to get them from 'Gig A' to 'Gig B'.
15. John taught the boys how to come up with excuses for all those 'vacations' they took - because a cover story was always needed.
16. John taught the boys how to respect women – because that's what Mary would have wanted.
17. John taught the boys everything he knew about the Supernatural – because they had to follow in his footsteps.
18. John taught the boys how to scam credit card companies – because demon hunting had a crap pay.
19. John taught the boys how to research in the library – because the internet wasn't always around.
20. John taught the boys how to survive off each other – because that was all they had.
21. John taught the boys how to where a suit and pull off the proper etiquette – because sometimes it was needed.
22, John taught the boys how to drive a minivan – just incase.
23. John taught the boys how to do a girl's hair and makeup – for undercover purposes.
24. John taught the boys how much they could drink – before they improvised the job.
25. John taught the boys how to be the best hunters they could be – because John would have it no other way.
