OK so this is my second oneshot. This is based on Taylor Swift's Hey Stephen. KCxRiley
KC looked at her phone, noticing the time. It was eleven fifty-seven. Her date Stephen was supposed to meet her at Starbucks fifty-seven minutes ago. Of course he wasn't there. Her best friend Riley has warned her that he would blow her off. And of course he did.
"Oh well," KC whispered to herself as she got up to go to her car. As she reached the exit, Stephen came running up to her.
"KC! I'm so sorry! I had football and the coach kept us longer and-" He stopped. Tears started flowing down KC's face smoothly.
"I knew I should have listened to Riley," KC said as she ran to her car. Tears flooded her eyesight. She wiped them slightly, her vision better. She opened the door and hopped in. She put the keys in the ignition and drove off. She drove wherever the car took her. She didn't realize that she had driven herself to Riley's house. She ran to the back, picking up some of the little pebbles from his pond. She threw them at his window. After her third try, Riley opened the blinds. When he realized it was KC, he opened the window.
"Riley come here!" KC cried. Riley scrammed for the door. He walked outside and gave KC a hug.
"Don't worry KC. I'll fix all your problems. I promise. KC smiled.
"Well then can you beat up Stephen?" KC's tears slowly began to stop. Riley smiled.
"Well, no. But, I will talk some sense into that trader. KC laughed. The two walked over to a hammock and stayed there, talking about what had just happened, and staring at the beautiful stars above them.
The Next Day
"STEPHEN! STEPHEN! STEPHEN!" everyone was chanting.
"Hey Case, what's going on?" Jackie asked.
"Stephen and Josh are probably getting in a fight again. Probably about football." KC replied. They walked over to the scene together, not knowing what was going on.
"Oh my gosh!" KC yelled. Stephen and Riley were facing off.
"Hey Stephen. You need to get some sense knocked into you. You don't tell a girl you'll meet her for a date then arrive an hour later. And you especially don't lie to her and say your football coach made you stay afterwards when you don't even play. That's just what snobs do!" Riley stopped. Stephen's face got real red. Stephen threw a punch. Riley dodged it. Riley grabbed KC and walked away.
"Riley?! Why are you walking away?! You know he's going to come back and kill you!
"Well, if I get killed, I get killed."
"But why did you stand up for me?!"
"Because you're special." KC stopped walking. Riley continued on. KC realized that Riley rally was her true hero. KC ran to Stephen.
"Hey Stephen!" she yelled.
"What do you want?!" Stephen screamed. KC jumped back.
"I hope you know I'm not going to makeup that date you missed." Stephen gasped.
"Well, I never liked you in the first place. It was a dare!" KC laughed sarcastically.
"Whatever." She walked away.
