A conversation between Kyouya and Tamaki in secret (6 years after):
Kyouya: Tamaki, Haruhi and I are getting married and I would like you to be my best-man."
Tamaki(shocked): What?!? You and Haruhi are getting married?!? What did you do to make her marry you?!? Did you do something to her or threaten her?!? Or did she owe you money again?!?
Kyouya(calm): Tamaki,I know she's your "daughter" but don't you think you're over-reacting a little?
Tamaki : Maybe…I think I can't make it…Well uh…I gotta go…Bye!
Little did Tamaki know that Kyouya had actually forced Haruhi to get married with him because of the hospital bills she had to pay at one of the Ootori's hospitals. At that time, Ranka had an accident and was in coma for a very long time.
When Tamaki went to see Ranka at the hospital the next day, he saw Kyouya visiting him and Kyouya said to him, " Because of you, your precious Haruhi would have to marry me..Too bad you won't get to see her getting married,old man."
Tamaki immediately took a cab to Haruhi's house but she was not in. He suddenly remembered something, Haruhi was not at home because she was getting married tomorrow and she had to be at one of her friend's house.
On the next day, Tamaki did not come as Kyouya's best-man and so Hikaru became the best-man. Tamaki waited outside the doors of the church until he heard the priest say, "Do you, Kyouya Ootori, take Haruhi Fujoika to be your lawfully wedded wife in sickness and in death?" At this moment, Tamaki dashed into the church and shouted,"I strongly object to this marriage!" When Haruhi heard this, she was so happy inside her that she ran to Tamaki and gave him a hug. Tamaki then took her hand and they both ran towards the church door.
