The stone brick base wont last very long. They are still breaking against the silver door. They are all dead, and I will be soon too. My wife, my kids... All gone... I can't wait to greet them in my afterlife.
Wait, I just heard a knock. Sounds more like banging now.. Its getting.. louder.. and harder.. I need to get to the safe room!
I ran as fast as I could, trying to avoid making much noise to prevent them from being attracted. Pictures of my family flooded my mind as I tried to run, engulfing my face in tears. It was hard to try not to cry. Wait.. The good thing is that I'm still here, and my family would want me to keep on going! Yeah, that's what they would think! The tears dried up and I kept running.
I heard a loud bang.
They're in! I'm not even near to the safe room yet!
I began to notice, I wasn't running. I felt like it the entire time?
I was walking... I'm near the saferoom, though. They're here.
I grabbed my trusty Nights edge as I ran across the room. One of them tried to pounce on me, but I knocked it back with the sword.
I grabbed the rusty metal handle of the door, and shut it with so much force one of them was blown back.
I did it.
I hear more bangs on the door. Wait a second, something is tearing a hole through the wall with a drill! It's finally over.
I closed my eyes and cried.
Something cut through me, and my vision blurred to black. A hallucination of my wife appeared, hugging me, then disappearing.
"No.. PLEASE! COME BACK!" I shouted.
Nothing happened as my soul exited my body.
