As soon as she stepped into her apartment, Leia was hit with an intense shiver. She rubbed her arms as she looked around in confusion- when she'd left that morning, the house was delightfully warm. After closing the door and setting her things down, she made her way over to the thermostat and rolled her eyes as realization dawned on her.

"Really? 66 degrees?" She thought to herself and proceeded to bump the temperature up to 78.

Some time later, Leia was finishing up some mundane chores in the kitchen when she heard the front door open and shut.

"Hey-" she began but was promptly cut off.

"Gods, why is it so damn hot in here?" Han grumbled as he entered the living area, taking his jacket off and fanning himself dramatically.

Leia turned to him. "Well hello to you too," she said flatly. "It's not hot in here, when I came home it was absolutely freezing! You've got to stop adjusting the thermostat, I'm going to freeze to death."

Han raised his brows at his wife. "You're a fine one to talk, I'm about to melt and I've only been in here for two minutes!"

"It's not my fault your damn Corellian genes make you hot all the time!" Leia shot back playfully.

A sly grin splayed across Han's face. "You got that right sweetheart," he winked and pointed at Leia, who responded with a small eye roll and a smile. "And besides, it's not my fault that you're miniature."

A few hours later, Leia was sat in her bed doing some light reading. She was tucked under her blanket happily, feeling warm and content while Han sat in the living room watching whatever smashball tournament was on the holovision.

Shifting uncomfortably for the fifth time in the last few minutes, Han rolled up his pants in an attempt to get some air on his legs. Not long after, his sleeves were pushed up and he realized what was going on.

"I know she didn't.." he mumbled to himself as he stood up and headed to the thermostat. He read the number 75 and immediately headed towards his room.

Leia looked up from her data pad when she heard huffy footsteps and a quiet whining nearing closer and closer to the bedroom.

"Yes dear?" She asked innocently, well aware of why he was in there looking particularly grouchy.

Han leaned against the doorway, an expression of pure displeasure on his face.

"Any reason the thermostat is set hotter than any sun in the galaxy?" He smiled sarcastically.

Leia set the data pad down and looked at him, mirroring his sarcastic expression. "Perhaps because someone keeps setting it to below zero?"

Han walked over and sat on the bed, mindlessly rubbing his hand over his jaw. "I think I might have a way I can warm you up," he mused, a devious smile creeping onto his face.

Catching on, Leia leaned forward. "Oh yeah? And what might that be?"

Han walked his hands closer to her. The smile still on his face, he leaned in and gave her the answer she needed.

A/N: so here it is! My first sw fanfic. I'm sorry it's short, it was just a little drabble I wrote the other night. Big big thanks to erindarroch for the inspiration!
