Parts were strewn about the cement floor, the large ship placed in the center. The lombax and robot moved around the garage, removing the damaged parts and replacing them with new ones. The radio played in the background, set to a top 40 station.

"And, that was the newest hit from Courtney Gears! Up next, a classic! You all may know this one! It's Becky Lickerson!" the DJ announced.

A slow tune began to play. Clank was attaching a new wing, focusing more on the task at hand, rather than the music. Once it was firmly in place, he started on one of the vessel's taillights. Just as he was about to take it off, humming reached his ears and he paused, green optics scanning his surroundings for the source of the sound. The radio wasn't on too loud, so that couldn't have been it. His eyes eventually landed on Ratchet, who was wiping the front windshield and humming along to the song. Although he was singing an octave lower than the female vocalist, the lombax's voice, Clank noted, was right on key and warbling.

For a moment, he stood there, surprised, then the white warbot's eyes brightened, and a smile slowly graced his metallic face. He resumed to replacing the taillight, listening intently to the fuzzball's baritone voice.

Ratchet was beside him now, tightening a bolt with his OmniWrench. When the final chorus came on, he began singing, raising his voice slightly. A placid smile was etched onto his furry face, his large, striped ears moved back and forth to the rhythm, and his green orbs held a slight faraway expression. Clank nearly felt his systems tingle.

Another tune followed, this one more up tempo. Ratchet walked to the far side of the garage, swaying to the beat and snapping his fingers. HE sang to the song and picked up a broom. As he swept the broken parts into a pile, his robotic companion amusedly watched. The urge to laugh was strong, but he held it in. Ratchet seemed to be in his own little world.

Once the song concluded and the station cut to a commercial break, Clank grinned up at Ratchet and let out a giggle. "I must say, you have quite a set of pipes there, Ratchet."

His friend's eyebrows raised in surprise. "Uh…what?"

"You have quite a set of pipes," Clank reiterated with another giggle.

Ratchet reddened and smiled slightly. Was he really doing that, and Clank heard?

"Uh…thanks, pal."
