It's Alright, Young Master
If he knew anything, it was the feeling of disappointment.
"Why?" this was always the question that came to mind, all he ever seen in the world was pain, hate and deceit. Never since that day had he ever felt the gift of joy again. He hated the world for this, he hated everyone who was blessed enough the pure.
He'd always walked around and pretend these thought didn't exist. Unfortunately, they were in his head so much, it was hard for anyone to pretend they didn't know. Even Soma, he knew it was there. Anyone could see it, no matter how hard he tried to hide it.
Every time he looked in the mirror he saw nothing but his pain. He looked, studied his face. Pain played across his face like the undertakers scars.
Suddenly, his reflection changed, and what he saw shocked him.
His eyes went red, his face started to disintegrate as if acid had been thrown at him. Before him stood a skeleton, and even then the pain was coursing through his bones, lighting up like a lantern. Then, just as suddenly as it appeared it was gone.
A door opened and a man peered in dark navy haired man smiled. He jumped he could have sworn he saw his father! He was there! He started to cry he swung around so fast he almost fell. It was just Sebastian he froze as reality's cruel, greedy fingers took his heart and in it's hands and felt as if it were slowly squeezing his fragile heart until it popped like a balloon. He flew from the room.
"Young master!" Sebastian called, rushing back to his side. He grabbed Ciel by his wrist to turn him around but Ciel wrenched his wrist away only to causing to cause himself fall to the ground.
"Young master, forgive me." the butler reached to place him back on his feet, Ciel just pushed his hands away again.
"young mas-"
"please, just go away Sebastian."
"but my lord your-"
"Go. Now!"
sebastian no longer cared if he broke an order, his master was hurt. Before ciel knew it he had been picked up bridal style and brought back to his room where Sebastian sat on the bed and rocked the child in his arms.
"Young master you must accept people help, stop being so quick to run away from your feelings. They aren't going away."
Ciel sighed. "I know. All to well."
a runaway tear trailed down the boy's face followed by several more. He let all his anger and despair out with each drop.
"it'll be all right, young master. I'll be here for you, until the very end."
