The Tragedy of Mr. Crumplebottom
They were looking at the brand new home, soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Crumplebottom, they had already began decorating the sleek and stylish home to their personalities, they had a small room saved for the small child they were hoping to have, almost done with flooring it and decorating, the rooms were odd shapes, triangles, circles and other modern shapes. It overlooked the sea, they were going to be so happy together.
A couple of weeks later...
"Bye, mom, we'll be home within a month, okay, yeah I know, bye!" Mrs. Crumplebottom put down the phone and got onto the deck, oh it was a large ship, plenty of pools and other wonderful things to do. Later on in the evening, they were both formally dressed, smiling and sitting at dinner on the top deck near a short rail, Mr. C walked over and leaned over to look at the ocean "Darling, we could just live on a house boat, I love the sea" "that's why we bought a home right near the cliffs, you can see it from every single room from our house!" "I just want something more than to see it, I want to live it, feel it, you know?" "No, sorry sweetie I do not know a single thing about the ocean!" "Your loss, honey, the ocean is deeper and has more of a heart than you ever will!" "Excuse me? Mr. Moneybags, we can buy a yacht and go on it every summer, we are gonna be millionaires" "I don't want some stupid yacht, I want a house boat where I can lean over and touch the foam" "I'm starting to think you love the ocean more than me" "that's not true!" "Oh really, ask HER that!" Mrs. Crumplebottom cried, pushing her husband over the edge without even thinking, that's the last she saw of him, ever really, his sad eyes looking up at her. When she returned, she cried hard, her older sister tried to console her but, it would never, ever work, she killed Mr. Moneybags just to inherit all of those simoleons. She was a monster, she even pretended to want a child for him, now he was gone and she could never, ever forgive herself.
