Lap Dog

It had been a tiring few days. Once Naraku finally been defeated, everyone decided to rest before heading out to aid other villages that had been hit by Naraku's shouki. With any luck, there were only a few.
Kagome plopped down on the floor beside Inuyasha who had opted to change in cleaner clothes bought especially for him as his circled about in the washer, getting out all the stains. "I'm so tired. Every muscle in my body is screaming to not move." The hanyou gave a snort but didn't drop a remark seeing the bags that rested under the woman's eyes.
"Well now's the time to rest." He murmured stretching out his legs and giving a good flex in his shoulder blades. Kagome smiled and scooted closer to his side which didn't seem to bother him.
'Maybe just a little closer,' she thought and again moved closer to his frame. When he didn't budge, she took that as a good sign and dared to get even closer by dropping to his leg.
Immediately she realized how stiff he went. Maybe his leg hurt? Or she simply had crossed the line. Fearing to see the reaction on his face, Kagome gave a soft call. "Inuyasha…?"
He gave a tight sounding "Keh" before adjusting his legs. This only caused the miko to buck forward and land in his lap. "Better." He said, a hand curling about her small waist and tangled the other in her hair. Kagome, shocked, closed her mouth which had come unhinged as a good sensation flowed from his claws working her scalp.
"Mmm. That feels nice."
There was a snort before Kagome felt herself being propelled toward the hanyou's hard chest. "I know what could feel even better."
Kagome couldn't have agreed more as he kissed her.
