Ch. 1; Patching Things Up
Misaki was up bright and early, cooking breakfast, as always. Today was already off to a different pace, however, because Usagi was already up and at 'em, appearing to be a bit in a tizzy. The young brunette finished making their morning meal, and set the two plates at the table.
"Usagi-San, are you alright?" petite boy asked his older lover, stepping closer to the silver haired man.
"Yes, yes. Don't worry about me." the older man reassures, wrapping his strong arms around his younger lovers waist, holding him in a tight embrace.
The door bell rang, and the young boy began pushing on his lover's shoulders, embarrassed at the idea of anyone seeing them like this. After all this time of them being together, public display of affection was still something Misaki wasn't used to.
Usagi laughed softly at how cute his lover was when he was all flustered, as he went to answer the door. The person who stood on the other side of the door put reason to Usagi's uneasy vibes from earlier. He reluctantly opened the door, letting the waiting man on the other side enter.
It was non other than Haruhiko Usami. That's right, Usagi's elder half-brother. The silver haired man didn't say a word, just stepping aside so his brother could enter. There was certainly tension between the two, which was expected. Haruhiko sat down on the couch, and motioned for his little brother to sit too. Usagi sat down across the coffee table from him, not wanting to sit beside him.
"I have come to apologize to you, Otouto." the dark haired man stated.
The younger sibling just stared at him, shocked that he had called him "Otouto", or that he even apologized at all.
"The way I've treated you all these years is inexcusable, and I only hope that you can forgive me." the older sibling apologized, bowing his head.
Usagi continued to stare at his older brother for awhile, then he nodded.
"Thank you, Otouto." Haruhiko bowed again.
"But, if you try anything funny, you WILL regret it, I'll be sure of it." Usagi warned.
Misaki was watching the whole situation unfold, from the kitchen. He was shocked that Usagi's elder half-brother would just show up out of the blue to apologize.
