It was nighttime, a time to settle in for a goodnight sleep, peace and a snuggle in their beds with their soulmates. Children would dream of the next day to come; with flowers and sunshine in their sweet dreams. Other times, it is a time for partying, gambling and other crazy antics going bump in the night. The time was 9pm. and Trunks was settling in for the night after Time Patrolling. Still, he can't help think to himself, "Where is Rachel?" "Tired already?" said a voice. Trunks looked behind him; it was Rachel. She gave a gentle smile walking toward him. "I had a lot of work cut out for me, you should've seen it." replied Trunks. "There was a distortion in history, and there were these Neo Ginyu Guys causing havoc in West City." "Well, seems you've busy. You didn't even need my help or anything, did you?" Rachel said. "Well; I did have Ace help me out so..." Rachel looked down smiling still but then looked really sad. Trunks looked at Rachel wondering if he didn't call her for help. "Rachel?" he asked. "What's wrong?" "I just..." Rachel felt uneasy but kept it settle. "I... I've been very...stressed lately and...I haven't been very happy with myself earlier, because I didn't have the time to take care of myself. I know Bardock's very upset with me..." "Why?" answered Trunks. "We got into another fight over a...f*&%in small, SMALL issue about some caddle we were nurturing at the Vicar's place, and we didn't even say sorry until we were in the park and I was talking with Fu about the same problem too." replied Rachel. "What did he say?" Trunks asked his trusted and beloved saiyan. "He said that sometimes when fathers and daughters...disagree, they like being left alone most of the day. If that's not a big deal then I don't know what is." Trunks asked another question, this time it was about Bardock. "What happened with you and him after that?" "After I had lunch with Fu, I came back home and we sat down and talked...that stuff. He said he was sorry he yelled at me and I apologized for yelling at him... I need to be more patient with him than I thought." Rachel said holding her head. She sat down on the bed and Trunks joined her. He put his left arm on her left shoulder and slowly embraced her. "I just feel so sad..." "I know." he answered. Rachel said holding her head. She sat down on the bed and Trunks joined her. He put his left arm on her left shoulder and slowly embraced her. "I just feel so sad..." "I know." he answered. "Rachel, I-." "I wanna sleep with you tonight." she replied. Trunks blushed, he was surprised Rachel requested she would want to be close but not that close. "O-Okay?... I can't argue with that either." Rachel smiled as she got on top of him, Trunks jumped a little and lied down on his back with Rachel. Rachel looked down at Trunks and smiled. "Can't argue with that, can you?" Trunks smiled back hugging her. "No." He wrapped the bed sheets around them, and said 'Goodnight' to his half-saiyan, half-human soulmate, kissing her softly and fell fast asleep at once; as crickets and gentle breezes from the wind filled the air in the darkly lit sky.
