Westcott couldn't believe it. Even if he avoided his own destruction by the hands of Mio Takamiya due to Shido dating her in order to convince her not to kill all of the Spirits, he still lost the battle. It's not just the battle he has lost; he lost the war. Among the losses he suffered, his right-hand woman, Ellen, is taken to custody by Ratatoskr.
"Damn Ratatoskr! Damn Shido Itsuka and the Spirits!" he ranted while he is seen alone in the main DEM branch located in England contemplating his losses. "This isn't over yet! Next time..."
"I'm sorry, but there won't be a next time," a feminine menacing voice told him.
As he turned around to see who it is, a beam is suddenly fired on him by an intruder using his own weapon, a Realizer, against him. The intruder is a witch with pale skin, light purple, and black clothing. Judging on the look of things, she's enjoying using his own technology against him.
"Arfoire..." he said in recognition. "What are you doing?!"
"I'm just helping myself with your technology," she grinned. "Sadly, your final battle with that boy and his Spirit harem has left you gravely exhausted. You don't have any strength left to resist."
That's when Westcott realized what's going on. As soon as he has lost the battle with injuries, Arfoire will kill him by using a Realizer against him. To think she was supposed to be the DEM's trump card if things go wrong, but she has no interest in following their orders, especially from a misanthropic madman like Westcott.
"I never thought... you have planned this from the very beginning," he said weakly due to feeling his lifespan being drained away by the very weapon he created. He screamed in pain as he feels his life is coming to an end once again while trying to reach his hand to the intruder, although it is futile for him. "ARFOIREEEEEEEEE!"
After he said his last words, Westcott drops dead to the ground. At long last, the mage who caused the deaths of innocents just for his own selfish goals is finally put to rest once more.
"Your services are no longer required," Arfoire said with satisfaction of what she just did. On the top of that, she manages to use her ability to copy Nia's Qlipha Crystal to use Beelzebub. It may be incomplete due to the fact that Westcott only got a part of the crystal before Shido interfered, but it's still worth copying. "Stay dead for good this time. I'll finish what you started, but I'll do things my way."
Her laughter is heard throughout the building, signalling of the beginning of a war in both worlds.
Author's Note: What do you think of my first Hyperdimension Neptunia and Date A Live crossover fanfiction story? It may be short, but still worth reading.
