Chapter 1:

The Birth of a Legend- Part 1

"Kara! Wake up or you're going to be late for school!" Usako yelled up the stairs.

"I'm coming!" Kara said turning off her Kinki Kids cd after she finished putting her school uniform on.

Kara had gone to Minomi Junior High. Her uniform was a white sailor outfit with a black skirt and high heels. And her outfit also contained a red shall over her shoulders.

"I'm leaving Mother," Kara said grabbing her bookbag as she walked out the door.

"Goodbye Kara." Karen said as she watched Kara walk down the road towards school. "What the?" Karen said as she saw red aura around Kara in the shape of a scorpion. She rubbed her eyes and looked again. The aura was gone. "I must be getting tired."

"Hey Kara." Maiya said walking up to her.

Maiya was a strait-A student at Minomi Junior High. She and Kara were close friends.

"Hi Maiya." Kara said a little exhausted.

"What's the matter?"

"I had a weird dream this morning."

"What was it about?"

"I don't remeber." Kara said sighing.

"Look who it is." Callisto said walking up towards Kara and Maiya.

"What do you want, Callisto?" Kara asked glaring at her.

"Watch your mouth Kara." Callisto said with an angry tone. "We wouldn't want to have an accident. Would we?"

"Is that a threat or a challenged, Witch!" Kara hissed back as she stood in front of Callisto to face her head on.

All of a sudden Callisto slapped Kara's face.

Everyone in the class looked towards Kara and Callisto.

"I see Callisto had brought on another challenge to Kara." Yuki said to Ray.

"When will she learn. Kara never backs down and she will always lose between the two." Kaneada said back to them.

"My guess is, never. She's too stupid to realize it." Ray said.

"Kara?" Maiya said as she saw Kara's mouth drip blood.

"Class get to your seats!" Miss Tamiyaka said as she entered the classroom.

"Kara!"

"Yes." Kara said standing up.

"Go to the nurse to get that lip checked out."

"Yes, ma'am." Kara said leaving.

"Callisto!"

"Yeah," she said not standing up.

"Stand when I call your name young lady." Miss Tamiyaka said in a stern voice.

Callisto stood up.

"You go to the principal's office right now."

"What for?" That bitch started it." Callisto said.

Before Miss Tamiyaka spoke again. Yuki had stood up to speak.

"Why don't you try and take the blame for what you started Callisto? The whole class saw you walk up to Kara and slap her in the face."

"What are you talking about Yuki? She always starts the crap between us." Callisto said looking at him.

"Just admit you're insanely jealous that everyone in class are friends with Kara and not you. You've allways been like that since gradeschool." Yuki said glaring at Callisto.

"Enough! Both of you!" Miss Tamiyaka paused then said, "Yuki sit down. And Callisto get to the principal's office before I drag you down there myself."

"Miss Kara? What happened?" Nurse Miyazaki asked as she saw Kara's split lip.

"Callisto started another fight," Kara said.

"I see," Miyazaki said. "And did you do anything to stop her?"

"Why do you ask?" Kara asked looking at her.

"She's probably going to keep coming after you until you do something about her."

"Are you suggesting I should fight her?" Kara asked. "I wouldn't mind fighting her. Cause maybe it'll straiten her out."

"I'm not sugessting that." Miyazaki paused then said. "All I'm sugestting is that you should stand up to her more often and not let her have her way."

"Maybe. I am getting sick and tired of her crap. It's every day she's like this." Kara got up and left the nurse' office and went back to class.
