Matt, Gillian, and Dani had all left, leaving Kris and Junior alone in the Kitchen to eat their pizza. They'd been talking about how much things had changed in the last few years. Kris then mentioned that it seemed as if the Ritters were looking for an upgrade from her, aka Gillian.

"Kris," Junior said as Kris swung her head toward his. "No one could replace you, not in a million years."

"Yeah? Thanks," she replied, smiling genuinely as he leaned in and looked at her lips. Before he got too lost in the moment, he got up, saying, "I should go check on my dad." He stuck his hand out in front of him in a waving motion. Kris grabbed it and pulled him to her. She held on tight to him and kissed him as if her life depended on it. He was so surprised it took him a minute to catch up to what was happening. He deepened the kiss, his tongue slipping into her mouth around and around in circles, making her moan. They walked, as if one body, backwards into the living room. Junior gently nudged Kris onto the sofa, onto the soft pillows. She slipped of his shirt and ran her fingernails along his chest, tickling him and making him laugh in pleasure. He'd started to unbutton her blouse, but she stopped him.

"We can't. I can't. First of all, if we're going to do this, I want it to be right. I want us to go on a romantic date and just- I want you to be Charming Junior, and me to be Shy Kris. I like that part of Us when we spend time together and date. And plus your dad is right upstairs. Don't get me wrong, I-I still love you, but this is just fast, you know?" Kris looked up at him as she asked this, with inquiring eyes.

He ran his hand lovingly along her arm and took a deep breath. "Yeah, and I love you too. Ever since that night after you won the Breeder's, I'd been trying to hold it in, but it just feels so good to let it out now. And I get it, I really do. So why don't we go on a romantic date? How does tomorrow night sound? The club?" Junior asked.

"That sounds good. I'm really happy we talked, Junior. You're such a great guy and I love you so much. God, I don't wanna move from this spot, ever," she said, laying her head on his still-bare chest.

"So don't. Stay the night. We'll stay right here, just like this," Junior said whispering the last few words softly in her ear.

"I'd love that, Junior. G'Night," Kris said, drifting off into a dreamland of her and Junior marrying and having children. She could picture forever with him, and as much as that scared her, it also gave her a comfort, knowing that she had a rock-like person in her life. Someone who would always be there.

And so she fell asleep, no cares in the world, Kris' head nuzzled against Junior's neck, his head on top of hers. He kissed the top of her head before squeezing her tightly and falling asleep himself.
