Author's Note: I want to thank my amazing beta Michelle because I wouldn't be here posting this if it wasn't for her.
I want to take the change to also thank the two people that reviewed my last one-shot, it really means a lot to me. Also asnwering n2aabmmummy's question - yes, I do write about other couples but I haven't had any inspiration for it yet. Again, feel free to leave me with ideas. I love it! :)

She really doesn't know how it happens.

In one moment, they're standing in the middle of her backyard yelling at each other, first saying things that they don't mean and then things they never told each other. It's crazy and messed-up, but somehow it's normal. It's them.

And then, in another moment, he's taking three steps forward and grabbing her strongly, kissing her without a warning.

She's surprised and confused with his move, but every thought slips her mind quickly and then she's just feeling him. His strong arms around her, pushing their bodies together. His lips on hers. Their tongues dancing together. It's him, everywhere.

He tastes like beer. She tastes like strawberries. They don't exactly mix well, but somehow they fit. They're like two pieces of a puzzle no one would ever think would belong together, but they do.

They're young and in love and although that thought scares them both, they can't get away from each other. They haven't been able to since they were both fifteen and he put his arm around her, after she got tusked into the pool by Brittany, and he helped her find warm clothes.

So when they finally pull away from each other to breathe and he rests his forehead against hers, she thinks about running away. She doesn't want them to keep dancing like they've been: together, not together, sort of together. Always the same circle.

But before she can make up her mind, he's opening his mouth to speak. "Did you mean it?" He whispers.

For a second she doesn't know what he's talking about, but then she remembers her confession just minutes ago. She doesn't want to lie, there's no point in doing it, but she's scared. She knows that once this is out in the open, there will be no turning back, at least not for her. So before she can answer, she needs to know.

"Did you?"

He cups her face and makes her look at him. She looks into his warm eyes and she just knows that this is it. This is where it really starts.

"Yes." He says, looking into the eyes of the girl he's always wanted. He still doesn't get how she doesn't know what he feels, even after all this time.

She feels her heart beat strongly in her chest and she wonders if he can hear it. There's a warm feeling in her belly and although she doesn't understand, it feels good. "I mean it too." She says after a while, looking into his eyes. He smiles, truly smiles, and she swears she can see his eyes shining with true happiness.

And then he's kissing her again and it's so passionate and full of love, she thinks she might die.

(She doesn't know how it happens. How they're fighting in one moment and confessing what they never truly could in the next.

But later on, when she looks back in time, she'll smile and think about how it couldn't have been more perfect.)
