So, Katniss and Rue were in the woods. "I'm so glad you're my new ally. I was getting really scared that I'd be killed. But with you I know I'm safe."
Katniss smiles softly to Rue. Even though she knew that the time would soon come to end Rue's time on this Earth. With this in mind, Katniss still serves Rue a big hunk of meat as a . . . last meal. Rue silently sleeps atop the highest tree where no one would find her. Katniss takes out her knife and lightly, lightly, ever so lightly across the young girl's neck. Not daring to make a sound, as not to wake Rue, but to no avail. Rue opens her eyes ever so quickly.
"Katniss! What are you doing? I trusted you with all my heart! How could you do this to me?" Tears started to fall down the young girl's face. This only fueled Katniss's urge to kill more. With one quick movement, Katniss drug the knife across Rue's neck. Rue's eyes rolled back into her head. This was not enough. Katniss began to stab Rue multiple times. She stabbed her 38 times. After the deed is done, Katniss throws Rue's body to the forest's floor. Katniss climbed down the tree, and once she was all the way down, she got a bag that was hidden behind a tree. Inside was a mess kit, matches, salts and spices, A fork, a knife, some nice China, a fold up table, chairs, and a single candle. You see, Katniss knew since the beginning of training that Rue would be a very yummy girl. She promptly dismembers Rue into 6 sections. She cut 2 arms, 2 legs, the torso, and most delicious of all . . . the head. She builds a fire, and lights it with the match. Katniss open the mess kit, and grabs the biggest pan. Once the pan is hot enough, she puts Rue's left leg on the pan. After about 20 minutes of careful watch, the leg is finished cooking. Katniss sets up the table, chairs, silverware, candle, and plate. She places the leg on the plate, sits down, and takes a big bite of it. It tastes more delectable than anything she had ever tasted before. All it needed was a pinch of salt.
After the leg was completely finished Katniss says, "Boy, was that delicious!"
