AN: Ok, so this is a one-shot I wrote a long time ago. I can't even remember when I wrote it, but it was around the time of the other Twilight one-shots I have on here. Enjoy! :D
Bella stepped into the Cullen house to be greeted by Emmett dressed in a head-to-toe bear suit. Not "ferocious grizzly bear" but "cute and cuddly teddy bear".
She burst out laughing and just managed to ask, "Lose a bet, Emmett?"
"No, Bella," he said sadly, looking at his bear feet. "Rosalie's taking me to a costume party, and she got to pick what I wear."
Just then, Rosalie walked in, wearing a dirty pair of overalls with an oil-covered rag sticking out of a pocket.
"Do I have to wear this?" Emmet asked her with a hint of whine in his voice.
"Yes, Emmett. We had an agreement. You come to the party, and I get to pick what you wear," she replied. "Besides, you look so adorable!"
"That's what I was afraid of," he mumbled in Bella's direction.
She laughed again. "So, Rosalie, are you going as a mechanic?"
"Yes. Which works out well, because I just finished working on Emmett's car," she answered.
Emmett's gaze remained on the floor as he shuffled out behind Rosalie.
Disclaimer: I own not the Twilight series, nor do I own Rosalie's mechanic overalls, but I own the suit she made Emmett wear. I lent it to them after I had it dry cleaned. I also lent it to Freddie (iCarly) when he was trying to make his cousin laugh. Unfortunately, that's why I had to have it dry cleaned.
