EE- And now time for some random yaoi!! WOOT! WOOT!! This is going to be Shino and Choji, or ShinxChoj. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. Truly.

Butterflies…

Shino was always the quiet one. He never showed feeling, or even changed expression. (EE- Okay, well maybe he does in the one where he drinks that laugh-potion that makes him laugh nonstop, but who cares?) He kept his eyes hidden beneath dark glasses and half of his face, beneath his tall neckband.

One day, he was in the park, one of his favorite places to be. Mostly because no one ever happened to be there. They were training, or hanging out with friends. But Shino didn't have friends. He also liked this particular park because of its contents. The insects. Though he was constantly surrounded by insects, (EE- I know, what you're all thinking, "Well, duh!" But cut me a little slack, will you? This is my first yaoi!) He still felt a certain fascination with them. To Shino, there was no better way to pass time, then to look at the many tiny creatures buzzing around.

Looking around slowly, his covered eyes searched the area. One particular thing caught his glance. It was a butterfly. But there was something special about this one. It was a bright blue, in a way intoxicating. It floated closer and closer to Shino. His eyes were wide behind his glasses. He took a sharp breath, accidentally scaring it away. To his surprise, he found himself running after it. Why? It was only a butterfly?

He chased it for only a couple seconds, before he ran straight into something. Someone. He fell down, as did whomever he crashed into. (EE- Ooh, I bet you don't know who it is! Jk.) He sat up gingerly.

"Oh, I'm sorry…" Shino started. It was that Choji kid.

"You were trying to catch the butterfly too?" he asked, but Shino couldn't find his voice.

Choji smiled, standing up. To Shino's surprise, he held out his hand.

"Here." He said gently, helping him up.

"Th-thanks." He stuttered, finding his voice.

"No problem. So, do you come here often?"

"Yeah, to look at all the insects."

"Cool, I particularly like butterflies, I don't know why. Hey, it's nice that you're here, no one usually comes to this park."

"There all with friends." Shino found himself saying. This was crazy, why was he opening up to someone who might as well be a complete stranger?

"Yeah." Choji said, almost sadly. Almost, "More things we have in common, huh?"

"Yeah. So, do you know a lot about butterflies?"

"Kind of. I'm no expert like you though." He said modestly.

Then, without even trying, the two launched into conversation, about bugs, nature, other stuff, etc. Almost two hours later, they were still there, just talking. Shino had never remembered a time when he had said this much in a single day. In a single week.

"Hey, look." Choji said, pointing, "There's that butterfly, again!"

He started to go after it but Shino stopped him, by grabbing his arm, "Let it go." He said calmly. The butterfly flew higher and higher until they could no longer see it.

"Whoa, it's so pretty." Choji sighed.

"Yeah." Shino breathed.

"I like you a lot." He said softly.

"Yeah." He breathed again.

They kissed there. Standing in the middle of park. The insects swarming the trees. They broke apart blushing.

"Well, I'd better go. See you later." Choji said, giving him a quick hug, and then darting off.

Shino started walking home, slowly, still kind of in a daze. In an odd way, he felt like a load was off his shoulders. It felt great. The sun was just setting and casting orange rays across the azure sky. While looking up, he also saw something flutter. It was the butterfly. The same blue one. He smiled, silently thanking it, for…everything.

The End

EE- Once again, I'm reminding everyone that this IS in fact my first yaoi story. Please review!!!
