Author's Note: Sigh.. I was attacked by a killer plot bunny in the form of a cat.

I apologize for this really.

Disclaimer: I don't own Hetalia/Nekotalia

And just for simplicity: Spain is Antonio. And Romano is... well Romano.

Rated T just in case for Romano~

Tail twitching, Romano knew it wasn't safe out from under the bed. Antonio had returned from the pet story, too happy. Although that bastard is always too happy.

Before the front door had even opened, Romano heard the whistling of the happy human and immediately bolted for cover to one of his many hiding spots in hopes Antonio wouldn't actually be looking for him.

Of course that had been a total lie as Romano soon heard, "Romanooooo~"

Romano froze; he could hear the footsteps getting closer to him. Backing up slightly he made sure he was in a spot under the bed that even if Antonio had looked, with the rest of the clutter under there he still wouldn't be seen. That's right just have to wait out the damn bastard.

Strangely satisfied Romano adjusted himself to be more comfortable in his hiding spot. Or he would have. If he could have. If there wasn't Antonio peering at him from the other side of the bed saying, "Romanooo~ There you are~"

Damn it! Romano growled as he soon found his tail being pulled at as he was dragged out from under the bed. He tried to dig his claws into the carpet, but Antonio was too strong for him as Romano soon found himself in Antonio's arms.

"Awe, you're such the cutest thing ever!" Antonio mused hugging Romano even tighter.

Romano continued to struggle and protest, but Antonio either seemed to not notice or care as he happily bounced down the hall, Romano wrapped up in his arms.

When he arrived in the kitchen, Antonio shifted Romano in his hold so his hand was free to reach into a plastic bag that sat on the counter. Even with one hand, Romano had little luck getting out of the hold. Beyond annoyed, Romano gave one good last struggle. But only found Antonio hugging him again, "I got you a present!" Antonio said in a sing-song voice.

Turning his head slightly, Romano saw a cat toy in Antonio's hand. Damn bastard what do I want a toy for? Turning up his nose in the other direction.

Antonio sighed and forced Romano around so he could show off the new toy to Romano. Romano eyed the small red ball with a green feather on top of it. It did look amusing at least. Until Romano saw the grin across Antonio's face again.

Hugging Romano once more, he gently put Romano down. Taking the chance, Romano ran out of the room and under the dining room table.

Antonio continued to smile as he tossed the toy towards Romano and went to go about making dinner for himself. Romano stared at the ball before cautiously stepping up to it. He glanced around quickly to make sure no one was watching before he batted at it. Damn bastard… Batting it again. It did roll quite nicely.

Finding more amusement in it, he continued to bat at it as it rolled across the floor. Romano completely missed Antonio glancing into the room a large smile across his face as he cooed, "Cuuuuute!~"

Romano then picked up the ball by the feather and pranced out of the room, if anything he could pretend that the ball was Antonio as he batted it around.

Hopefully it wasn't too bad?
