Summary – Just a short scene I envisioned straight after the coin toss, in this one Harm "won" the toss and they would move to England, I'm considering also writing one where the reverse is true…

Fate

"You've always had the damndest luck you know that Harm?" Sarah MacKenzie knew she shouldn't take it out on her fiancé, they had both agreed that this would be the fairest, and easiest way to decide. The flip of a coin, fate, it had helped them thus far; it would just have to do the same for the rest of their relationship. Sarah just wished that fate would seem to be a bit more on HER side, especially in this department.

"It was a fifty-fifty chance my dear, you just happened to be on the loosing fifty's side." Harm looked at the love of his life. He had come to know every aspect and part of Sarah Mackenzie, and this was the stubborn girl in her that was definitely showing.

"Well civilian life isn't that bad, I guess I'd make a good Criminal Attorney." Sarah started…

"From what I've heard the justice system in Britain is even better than the one here at home, you'll fit right in Mac." Harm tried to sooth his future wife but knew he wasn't doing to well.

"I hear it's freezing in England…"

"All the more reason for us to stay extra close…"

"They don't even have baseball…"

"When's the last time you watched?"

"They, they, they're snobs and spoiled, and if you're not royalty you're looked down upon, and you have to always ride the train, and, and…" Sarah didn't know what had come over her, she was pretty sure she had just been possessed by a ten year old.

"Sarah… Mac... Please, we'll be fine in England, as long as we have each other, what else do we need." Harm also knew this side of Sarah MacKenzie; thankfully it was a side that didn't show very often.

"I bet you they got wild animals and things…"

"Sarah, you've been to England countless times, you know as well as me they don't have wild animals walking around freely."

"I know, I know…"

"Mac, listen to me please, it doesn't matter what the weather is like, what sports they play, how snobbish the people are, you know why?" Harm cupped his fiancés face in his hands and softly continued, their faces only millimeters apart. "We'll have each other Mac, it's been so long, we've fought this for so many years, but finally we'll be together, no matter what. We'll be able to fight whatever the English throws our way, as long as we are together."

"Captain?" Sarah paused, looking lovingly at her best friend and fiancé. "Why do you always have to be right?"

"It's a curse I know." Harm replied softly, drowning her in a passionate kiss.
