All That's Known

Based on the song from the musical Spring Awakening by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater Disclaimer: I own neither Spring Awakening nor Harry Potter.

A/N: So this parody is a little different in that I wasn't going for laugh out loud funny. But I've always wanted to tackle the latin chanting in the background. And yes, I found spells to fit the same rhythm as all of the Latin words used in the song, and no it wasn't easy! haha. And I realize that in school they (hopefully!) wouldn't be practicing some of these spells (such as crucio) but do you know how few spells there are with 2ish syllables?? ) Anyway, this song goes well with the parody of Bitch of Living that I did. This one is set during the 5th book. I don't really have plans to do a whole Harry Potter rewrite of the musical. (There's just too much that wouldn't fit) But I do have some other SA/HP parodies in files!

As always, read, and PLEASE review! It's how I get better. Let me know what your thoughts are! And be sure to check out my other song parodies too!

Harry
All that's known,
It's History, behind us.
All alone
At school, I am, defiant.

They doubt you
And soon they mock your story-
Till everything you do looks like another bid for glory

All they say
Is "Trust the Daily Prophet"
I'm insane,
I'm here for them to scoff at

No one suspects,
They're living in denial
And everything's okay, they just avert their eyes and smile

But I know
They're missing so much more
Just in looking through his eyes, I feel condemned.

Still, I know
To trust in Dumbledore,
When he says: there's a way through this...

On I go,
Again my scar is burning-
Cedric's gone and Voldemort's returning.

I'm calling,
To know the tide is turning-
I'm frightened like a child feels by everything I'm shown.

They watch me-
Just watch me-
I'm calling,
And one day all will know.

They watch me-
Just watch me-
I'm calling ,I'm calling
And one day all will know.
