The Six Stupids

Innocence is the 1st ignorance;
The cursed state spent under the
Numbing protection of that which
We have not yet come to know.
Denial is the 2nd ignorance;
A feeble and futile attempt to lock out the truth beating its
Bloody, broken fists on the doors of
Your consciousness.
Stupidity is the 3rd ignorance,
Caused by holding out long after
The truth has clutched its bleeding
Broken hand and fled, leaving
Behind a fractured perception of reality.
Madness is the 4th ignorance,
The fractured consciousness
Shattering into a million pieces.
Oblivion is the 5th ignorance,
Where delirium breaks and
Reality becomes another ambiguity like
Love and life and what it really means to live,
As opposed to being alive.
Death is the last, the 6th, the best.
For the truth is… nothing lasts forever.
Ignorance goes away...eventually.
