Taken by the Nargles
Summary: A short one shot about how Luna lost her mother and how she and her father dealt with it. Rated T because of character death, but that's really it. Otherwise, the story is cleaner than a Disney movie.
Luna's POV

Please review, I love reviews, reviews are awesome, even bad ones… especially bad ones, because I know this story is even worse than my first one because I'm especially awful at writing children (I think she acts a little too young here) and I never know how to get Luna right.
"Daddy, what are Nanels?"
"..Nanels?"
"Here.. it is right here. It's written "Look out for the Nanels"
"Oh no, Luna, dear, it says "Nargles", that's a "R""
"Daddy, what are Nargles?"
He smiles at her "Nargles are small creatures that take away things, they like to plant mischieves they do"
"What do you mean, they take things away?"
"Yes, they're little thieves, but most of the things they steal come back sooner or later… or they are hidden at a place so obvious, that we can't see them"
Mummy is working in her room. I hear a noise, so I run upstairs to see what she's doing, her experiments are always fun and I like helping her. She says she's brewing a potion and I'm disappointed, I thought it would be a more fun experiment, but I sit down and smile because I'm proud of mummy, she is always so smart, inventing stuff. She says anyone who drinks this potion can talk to Wrackspurts. I ask her if I can try it but she says she has to test it first.
And as she took the potion to her lips it seemed like the room turned dark, the air started to shake for in the next second a body lay on the ground.
For a long time daddy won't explain what happened to mummy, he's just quiet, sometimes I see him cry.
"Daddy, where's mummy? I miss her"
"Sweetie…. I.. Your mummy is gone"
"Well, then tell her to come back!"
"Luna, dear….. Mummy can't come back"
"Why not?"
"She… she's… d-… she's been taken away"
"….by the Nargles?"
"The… Nargles?"
"You said that the Nargles are the ones that take away stuff… Did they also take mummy?"
"….."
"Did they, daddy?"
"Yes, darling… your mummy was taken by the Nargles"
"So that means she'll come back"
"No, your mummy won't come back….No… she's… she's hidden in a place so obvious that you can't find her at first glance"
"And where?"
"In your heart"
