The Coffee Cup Confession
Amy and Karma were spending the weekend as per usual, and they've decided to start early. They went to Starbucks for breakfast because they were not in the mood to prepare it themselves. There were a lot of people and one of them has to stay behind to look after their table so Amy went to order for them.
When she came back, she only had one sandwich and one tall cup. Karma was confused. "I thought you ordered for the both of us? Are they just going to serve it or..?"
"Sorry," Amy replied, "I forgot, I'm not fully awake yet." Lie. Total bullshit. Then she took a sip of her drink slowly and she deliberately held the cup on the sides, no matter how awkward it was to show Karma what was written on it. Amy was getting nervous but kept her gaze on the other girl. Because on the side of the cup that's facing Karma was the word "Okay?"
The brunette didn't seem to notice though, she was clearly confused because Amy never forgets things like these and she was also getting hungry.
Shaking her head, Karma stood up saying, "Hmm..alright, I'll just go get my own, then." and made her way to the counter. A few minutes later, she came back and the two girls went on to finish their food. Amy was so disappointed to see that the only thing written on Karma's cup was the other girl's own name but she tried to act as if it was nothing. "It was a stupid plan anyway..." she said to herself, "fuck, fuck, fuck, shit, shit, shit!" Good thing her frustration didn't show, otherwise Karma might ask what's going on and she might tell her. Well, that was the plan but... it wouldn't be the way she imagined it would be. She let it go- for now. Maybe Shane could help her out, give her a better idea on how to tell Karma how she really feels.
Other than that little (EPIC) dent on Amy's plan, she and Karma actually enjoyed a normal conversation-if you call making fun of other people an actual conversation. You do? Oh, right.
Finally, they finished their food and decided to go back to Amy's house, leaving both their coffee cups on the table. They were almost at the door when Karma realized that she was only able to drink half of her macchiato and asked Amy to get it back for her because she didn't want it to go to waste. Naturally, Amy went back only to find that on the other side of the cup right next to Karma's name was "3 Amy" and right below it was "Okay."
