R5 in Miami

Chapter 1.

"AUSTIN MONICA MOON, GET BACK HERE" The familair words of Mike Moon's voice echoing from the food court. Taking a deep breath, the mischeious blonde stood up at the sound of his Dad's voice getting closer by the second, doing the only thing which he knew was best, he runs to the only place he know's his dad wont step foot in. Sonic Boom. Ever since Trish meddled with his parents and Lester, Mike and Mimi swore they would never go back to the store. They may hate Lester, but they love Ally as if she was their daughter.

Turning the corner, the bright coloured sign comes into view, causing a small to appear on his face. "Thank goodness the store is open" he mutters to himself, his running pace slowing down as he get closer to the store entrance. Pushing the glass door open, not a customer is in sight and a certain brunette is not behind the counter. "Ally!" he shouts, walking up to the counter. He gets no reply.

'Where could she be?' he thinks, before it dawns on him. Creeping his way up the stairs, a soft tune erupts from the practice. 'Bingo'. Facing the closed door, he can't help but smile at the thought of Ally concentrating on a new song for him to sing. Quietly opening the door with just a crack, he see's his favourite brunette sat at the piano, her fingers gracefully gliding across the black and white keys.

Opening the door a bit wider, he tries to not make a sound as he carefully tiptoes into the room, shutting the door behind him. Leaning against the door, he closes his eyes hoping that she didn't hear the door closing, but just opening one eye and it's obvious that she is still lost in the music. A small sigh escapes his lips, but forcing his eyes to open when he hears her voice.

"If you wanna cry, I'll be your shoulder. If you wanna laugh, I'll be your smile". she sings quietly, her soft tone filling the music room. Austin take his time walking over to her as she carries on singing without a care in the world. Her songbook sits on top of the piano, wide open, easy for him to see. Leaning over her shoulder, he reads the lyrics before their voices merge together.

"If you wanna friend, doesn't matter when, anything you need that what I'll be. You can come to me". A loud scream erupts from Ally's throat at the sound of another voice joining hers, but because she is sat close to the edge of the bench she falls off landing on the floor, causing a groan to escape her lips. Realising what has just happened, Austin rushes to her side, placing one hand on her back and the other on her arm, slowly helping her stand back up.

A frown covers her face once she realises who the culprit is. "Why did you do that?" she asks in a angry tone, he shrugs is shoulders and whispers "I thought it would be funny". All she does is just glare at him, but as soon as he pulls his lips into a pout she only tells him no to do it again.

"So, we don't have practice today" Ally says casually "Why are you here?", A look of shock spreads across his face, not expecting something like that to come from Ally. She usually never gets straight to the point, instead takes the long way round; like a story."What? I-I swore that you said we-" but one look at her pointed expression it's clear that she isn't buying it. "Dad's angry with me" he mutters. Looking at him confused she asks why, "Well... you know my cousins are coming to visit" she nods her head and urges him to carry on. "um... I may have smashed a family air loom". Ally's eyes widen in shock, the air loom was a valuable vase that had a simple blue print plastered all over it.

According to Mimi, it had been in the family for generation and it was something that she would never part with."Austin, how could you" Ally shouts, a panicked look appears on his face and Ally soon apologizes for raising her voice, a habit that happens when she's annoyed. "But still, you know your Mom loved it", a sigh escapes the blondes lips. "I feel so guilty, my dad probably has-" he begins, but is soon cut off as a familiar voice shouts of Ally.

Austin sends her a pleading look, clasping his hands together. "Be right back" she says quietly, but points at him to make sure that he doesn't make a sound or leave the room.

Opening the practice room door, she see's Mike Moon stood at the bottom of the staircase, hand gripped tightly on the railing with a fake smile plastered on his face. "Oh, Mr Moon was a pleasant surprise" Ally says, taking slow steps as Mike flashes her a grin, before his face falls and it's clear what's coming next.

"Is Austin here?". Ally shakes her head, explaing that they don't have practice today. But within the blink of an eye, their discussion is over and Mike is walking out of the store muttering something about Pancakes and Dez. "You can come out now!" she shouts from the bottom fo the stairs, the practice room door creaks open, revealing a mop of blonde hair popping his head around the side before a look of relief maks his face.

Walking down the stairs, he notices a loose strand of her hair out of place. "You're a really bad liar" he murmurs, while grasping the curl betweem his fingers and slowly moving it behind her ear. A small blush appears on Ally's cheek at the close contact between them both. Surre she may have a small crush on him, but she will never admit it. "Yeah" she says quietly. Both of their eyes lock, neither of them wanting to look away. But the sound of male voices cause them to break their gaze.

"I'm telling you Riker, you don't need any more strings." Austin's eyes widen in shock, placing both hands on Ally's shoulders he turns her around and pushes her back towards the staircase. "What are you doing?" she asks "Why are you pushing me?". So many questions, yet he chooses to ignore her.

Stopping in her step, Ally turns around to look at him, not pleased by his sudden change of behaviour. "Rocky, don't leave me I almost got - AUSTIN!". A girls voice echoes through out the store, one look at Austin's face and it's obvious why he was pushing her upstairs. "Ex girlfriend" Ally snickers, just as the girl wraps her arms around his shoulders from behind.

A girl with blonde hair, dressed in a white netted dress smiles as she arms tighten around him. "Oh please, I'm not his ex girlfriend that would be gross!" the girl exclaims, releasing Austin from her grip.

Frowning at her, Ally opens her mouth to speak, but is cut off by the girl. "I'm his cousin Rydel!".
