The Atlantean Warrior: Origins!
Chapter One: The Origins of my Origin!
A Long Time Ago, in an Ocean, on an Earth Far, far away…
… By of which I mean sometime in the late eighties.
The citizens of Atlantis stared straight up.
"Look! It's a dolphin!" A woman claimed.
"No, it's a submarine!" Another argued.
"Wanna argue with me, you little skank?!" The first woman screeched.
"Oh, it is on!" The Other replied. As they started to smack each other, a man stood behind them, and sighed.
"You idiots!" He yelled, "It's just some idiot kid!"
And that's where I come in.
As you may've guessed, I'm the 'Idiot Kid' the Man was referring to. Wanna know the guy who was calling my name? My Father, Atlan Curry. (Don't worry about him calling me 'Idiot Kid'… Everyone calls me that! It's just a little joke name…)
As the people marveled my swimming abilities, they started to shower me with gifts!
… And by gifts, I mean rocks. And by shower, I mean throw, hard. Ow.
"Go away!" A woman screeched.
"Go away, odd dolphin man!" The other woman added, as she managed to hit me in the head with a huge rock. (Why are the crazy ones always such good shots?)
"Please, shush!" I yelled back, "I'm trying to focus!" I smiled and stared forward; nothing could stop me!
Nothing except pain.
My father launched a huge rock straight at me. Knowing the magic world of comic book logic, it hit me with full-force.
I fainted, sinking down to the street floor. An average day in the life of Arthur Curry! Haha… I crack myself up. Though, the rocks are good at that too…
When I woke up, I saw my father over me. "Hello, Son…" He sighed.
"Hey, Dad!" I replied happily. "What's wrong?"
"Well, two things. First, my son has been in a coma for three months," He informed me, "Also, the prince of the neighboring kingdom called me gay."
I gasped, "That bastard!" How dare he offend Atlantis like that? I'm ashamed…
"It's really no problem…" My Dad told me. Though I knew he was lying! He lies a lot. Like, when he said that wasabi tasted like ice cream. Good times…
Anyways, I knew he was lying! I jumped off of my hospital bed, looked down, and saw that I was inexplicably wearing my normal clothes. Whatever, I blame comic book logic. I swam out of the hospital, and out of the city.
I'm going to avenge my father!
I'm going to become a hero!
I'm going to become a legend!
I'm going to become…

This fic takes place in Vampireboy45's Earth 30 universe, originating in his fic, Batman Begins! This universe will cover the origins of some of our favorite, (and, in Aqua Man's case, least favorite) superheroes! So far, Deadman68 has written a Wonder Woman fic named Amazon Princess, a Superman fic named Man of Steel, and is apparently writing a Green Arrow fic! Invader Abigail has written a Flash fic called Fastest Man Alive, and Vampireboy45 has also written a Green Lantern fic called Green Lantern: First Flight.
