Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley were bored. Voldemort had been vanquished for two years now, and neither of the two had done a serious bit of rule breaking in years. Not to mention, Harry was sick of being bombarded by the wizarding press and adoring fans. And Ron had finally learned that fame wasn't quite what it seemed. Hermione of course was off becoming a Lawyer. The three shared a flat in London, and of course Harry and Ron have become a bit of nuisance. While she's studying, the boys have had parties galore, mostly set up by Ron's older brothers Fred and George, who are the real Weasley Kings of partying. On Friday nights, Hermione tended to purse her lips, and stomp off towards her room while Ron and Harry enjoyed themselves. But even those parties seemed to bore them.
Fred and George seemed to think that Harry, Hermione and Ron needed a vacation. They needed to get out of the spotlight, they needed to get away from London, and Hermione needed to get her nose away from her books. Fred and George were working on a non traceable device, able to take it's user anywhere in the world. Ron and Harry had decided that they were all going on a vacation…and Hermione wasn't allowed to bring her books.
It was a cold and rainy day, when Fred and George brought their device to Ron, Hermione and Harry's flat. Hermione couldn't believe that she had agreed to trust one of Fred and George's devices, but nonetheless agreed that a Vacation would be good for her. Harry grinned at her, and she joined hands with him, as Fred and George counted down the seconds until take off. Hermione closed her eyes, and prepared to be in the sunny Caribbean. When she opened her eyes, however, she found herself on a wooden surface…a boat.
"Harry, what is this" Hermione whispered.
"I'm not sure." Harry answered.
"Why are we on a boat?" Hermione asked, this time a little louder.
"A what?" Ron asked, but both Hermione and Harry ignored him.
"Let's just apparate back, and we'll see what happened." Harry and Hermione agreed, they all held hands and tried to apparate back, but found they were unable. Then, a few voices became clear.
"Ah, my dear William, where exactly is your Elizabeth being held captive now?"
"I'm right here Jack. We need what you are looking for." A female voice answered, more than likely it was this Elizabeth person. Ron, Hermione, and Harry heard people enter the boat. "Jack, we only have twenty-four hours to do this. Please help us Jack." The girl was now pleading. However, it seemed like it was pretty painful for her to do so.
"Should we go up?" Hermione whispered, "Maybe they can help?"
"Hermione, I think they are pirates." Harry answered. Ron looked as confused as ever.
"So, we have wands, what could they possibly do to us?" he stated. Hermione and Harry looked at each other, and silently agreed with Ron. The worst that could happen was that they stun the three people above deck, and best case scenario they get help.
