Its time to get up I spoke to no one in particular, beside me Nami nodded; Nami is my brother and is my caregiver since our parents died. I was happy that it was my first day of school, and I was gonna make new friends as I was homeschooled before today. I grabbed my backpack with an already packed lunch and headed to school. When I got to school an interesting sight greeted me, a bully was picking on my only friend Nami and she was crying profusely. "Help me!" Nami shouted, and I leaped into action with a falcon punch to the nose of the bully. He ran away with his tail between his legs shouting he would get revenge. I noticed a girl standing in the hallway, and when I noticed her she disappeared. "I wonder who that was" I thought to myself. Nami tried to get off the floor but his injuries caused him to fall back down. I called 911 and while waiting on the ambulance, the principal called me into his office over the loud-speaker. I nervously waddled into the principal's office, and he looked up from his seat with anger evident on his face. I knew I shouldn't have intervened because I would get in trouble but Nami was getting hurt badly by that bully. He spoke loudly to me "You have broken the rules and you are hereby suspended for the day." "I'm sorry but it was not my fault, he was hurting my friend." The principal shook his head, "Go home now or I will call the police." After that I left his office, and went home. I watched Netflix the rest of the day.

I walked to school and saw the same girl from yesterday watching me. If I looked into that direction she would most likely vanish. I sighed, it would seem that I would not get to talk to her today. I went to my first class, it was English which was an easy subject for me as I had an online tutor. Nami had to stay overnight in the hospital so I would be alone today which made me depressed. Eventually lunch time came and I decided to sit down where me and Nami usually sat. Since Nami was not here I was all alone while I ate my lunch. The subjects after lunch were boring and I soon fell asleep during them. I woke up as class was being dismissed. The teacher told me to stay after class, and I knew she saw me sleeping and I was in trouble again. When I was being scolded by the teacher I saw the same girl from earlier peaking at me from the hallway. After I finally got to leave school after getting caught sleeping, the girl finally wandered up to me and shyly waved with a huge blush on her face. She clearly thought I was cute but was too shy to say anything before. "I'm Mew" she said with a tone that rivaled even the quietest person I knew (Which was easy since I had no friends)
