"Hah.. Hah...", the redhead's pulse kept high while he trained. "Come back, Feraligatr." he commanded and a red flash absorbed into the pokeball. He wiped his forehead with the sleeve of his black collared jacket, despite the heat the very day. It was his favorite jacket, in fact, he loved it so much that he had multiple backups, but he wasn't crazy, of course he wore other things, he just really, prefers to wear that very jacket.
This redhead is Silver.
"Silver~!" Someone called from afar.
I'm not here, I'm not here... He covered his face with his hands as if it would help hide himself. When the obnoxious boy caught up to him, he let out a groan of annoyance and glared at the boy.
"Can't you just leave me alone for once?", "No I wanna train with you Silver." the other boy replied with a childish grin following right after.
"Gold" The cherished word escaping Silver's lips.
"Hun?" Auric eyes eyed the sterling ones of Silver's as Gold questioned.
Silver felt himself melt when he got a chance to look at those golden eyes again. No, it's just the heat. What is it, 95 degrees today? I need to stop wearing this jacket for a while.. Yes that's what I need to do..
"Silver? I think you worked yourself too hard, let's get some ice cream, it's Sundae Sunday anyways!" Gold exclaimed and grabbed Silver on the shoulder, guiding him down the street. Silver pouted and gazed downwards as they walked to Baskin-Robins.
"Hello! Would you like to try out our new pina-colada cream slushy?" the smiling girl asked. Why is she so determined? "No tha-" immediately Silver was cut off by Gold, "Oh that sounds great! I'll have one. What do you want Silver?". Silver shot Gold another one of his glares, he never gets cut off by anyone, period. His eyes moved from Gold to the menu where he scanned for something that wouldn't give him diabetes. "A medium cup of low-fat strawberry ice cream please" he decided. Gold gave Silver an uneasy look, "Ew, why low-fat? You're not fat" and got a shrug of the shoulders as a response.
"After this I will go back to train and you will go home" Silver said between bites of his ice cream while watching Gold have a brain-freeze.
"No~" Gold said, rubbing his temples.
"Yes and don't you dare say no."
"But I paid for the ice cream!"
"I'll be more than happy to pay you your money back."
Gold let out a discontented grunt and drank more of his slushy.
"Thanks. I'll see you, some… Day later." Silver said, walking out of the store behind Gold.
"Alright, bye Silv." Was all he received as a reply.
Well that was, weird, that's it? Silver shrugged it off, walking back to train once again. Every step he took seemed to burden him, he just had the ultimate urge to look back and see if Gold was still there. The redhead haven't walked too far, when he swished around to take a glimpse, Gold was still standing there, unmoving, and looking back at him.
Silver immediately felt the flush, all the way from his neck to his face. His eyes widened and he immediately turned back as if nothing happened.
It did happen.
It was embarrassing.
Silver fastened his pace while grasping his stiff and burning cheeks. Did I just have to look back? Oh my God…
"Hey Silver! Let's go get ice cream again."
"Hell. No. Never. Ever. Ever. Go eat ice cream by yourself."
