Journal entry number 20
Hei, it's me, Iceland.
Today was a good day. I finally got to see my girlfriend again after returning from my business trip. She was really happy to see me. Then again, when isn't she happy to see me?
Today we went to the park and walked along a large pond. We observed the fish. They were coy, what else was there to say? My girlfriend is fascinated with fish, more than Mr. Puffin enjoys eating them.
Later, we laid down in the grass and looked up into the sky. We watched the clouds form into different shapes as they floated by. This activity was very calming. I believe it is something I need to do more often these days, since my family irritates me so much.
I also bought my girlfriend ice cream. She giggled and made a pun out of it. After a few licks, she shared it with me. It was good tasting; mango and banana. Very tropical, but I shouldn't be so surprised since my girlfriend lives in a very tropical area.
The day ended sitting on a park bench, watching the sunset. It was rather boring, for my ray of sunshine was sitting right next to me. She always smiled. She always giggled. She always showed how much she appreciated me. I wished I was less of an introvert and more like her, but I do believe that if I do that, Nor will make fun of me. (So please don't tell him)
