Spongebob sadly walked out of his pineapple, limply taking a Santa hat off his head and holding it sadly at his side. He took a ladder from his garage and set it against the side of his pineapple. He climbed it and started taking down lights and decorations. Everybody in Bikini Bottom was taking down the last of their Christmas decorations, for it was a new year and the Holidays had passed what seemed like so long ago.

"After Christmas has long since gone,

I sadly lay and sing this song". Spongebob sang.

"I take the ornament from my rock,

With a sense of disbelief and shock". Patrick chimed in.

"The lights upon my tree so fine,

Shall have to cease to glimmer and shine" Sandy sung.

"Even I feel slightly sad,

Now is gone, the little joy I had" Squidward added

"Me dashing Santa in me yard,

Will leave just like me Christmas cards" Mr. Krabs recited.

"The time to be evil, has now begun,

But not until my sad song is sung" Plankton added.

"My classes shall, too soon resume,

And I shall need, my reserved hospital room" Mrs. Puff cried.

"The food is gone, and I look shabby,

It'll take some work, for my muscles went flabby" Larry moped.

"We are done visiting our little boy,

It'll be far too long to see our bundle of joy" Mr. and Mrs. Squarepants reminisced.

"The lovely carols in the air,

are replaced with this music, oh how it's not fair" Squilliam played.

"I can no longer go with my friends to the mall,

instead my presence will grace the school hall" Pearl added.

"The Christmas tree upon me ship,

must be discarded with a sad dip" the Dutchman sang as he threw the tree overboard.

"Now again I must depart,

Away from home, where they have my heart" Bubble Buddy said.

"Now our lights will stop their gleam,

As we drift back to our same boring routine" Mermaid man and Barnacle boy sang.

"Now my husband can continue to fail,

A task that he accomplishes so well" Karen chimed.

" Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow,

meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow" Gary purred.

"Now we must put down our drinks,

and use our heads to thinks and things!" the men in the Salty Spitoon shouted.

"Now my palace shall be deprived,

of the very brilliance for which we strived!" King Neptune whispered.

"Now I must part with the sweets,

How I hate to give up my treats!" sang the "CHOCOLATE!" guy.

"This is all happening at once,

But now I shall go back to my stunts!" mouthed Cannonball Jenkins.

"The Christmas feeling inside our hearts. Seems to leave just as fast as it starts. But the real indication that it isn't to stay, is when we have to put our decorations away. Now while Santa Claus sleeps, the whole town weeps, oh we want it to stay! Make it last every day!" Spongebob sang. "Just make it staaaaaaay." He then whispered softly.
