She had always wanted to go to the most beautiful place in the world. To see the most beautiful things. To travel along the stars.

Her dreams came true when she met the Doctor.

Ever since that day, she has been meaning to ask him to go to that place, the most beautiful place, but she was afraid that something bad would happen. Something bad always follows the Doctor.

"Rose!" the Doctor said, making his way over to her seat in the TARDIS, interrupting her thoughts.

"Rose! I thought you should choose where we go today. You never choose!" He looked at her with the brightest eyes and that big grin of his that she loved so much. She couldn't help but to smile back.

"No, no." she said. "I haven't seen the universe as much as you have, you should choose."

"But it's your birthday!" he replied, still grinning. "What TYPE of place do you want to go to?"

"The most beautiful place in the universe." she said.

"Okay. I know the place."

They held on, as the TARDIS flew to a place Rose KNEW would be the best place she had ever seen in her life.

As they landed, the Doctor told her to close her eyes. When they stepped out, he told her to open them.

"Oh my god..." Rose said with tears filling her eyes.

They had landed on the planet Gallifrey. The shock that went through Rose was so incredible she started sobbing.

"I can't believe it... is this... are we... where I think we are?"

"Yes."

"Gallifrey." she said, kind of shyly, for she had never seen anything so beautiful and precious in her life.

"I found a loophole. It was a lot of work, but I did it. I couldn't go through my own timeline, so I found someone else's."

"Thank you, Doctor. This is the best birthday present ever." she said, still crying, as she leaned up and kissed him.
