Your Wicked Games
Jeremys POV:
"I miss you too," i say before my thumb hits the red button, and a voice coming out from the bathroom is yelling: "I'm not a dog." A smirk forms onto my face. "Just get out of the shower already, we need to get on with the turning-thing.. dog," I whispered the last words so silently i didn't think he'd be able to hear it, but of course I was wrong, "I heard that." He yelled back.
The shower turned off, and suddenly the bathroomdoor opened.
"Hey Gilbert, could you just grab my stuff?" I shivered when I saw he wasn't wearing anything but a white towel around his waist. I quickly turned around and grabbed his stuff to pass it through. "Thanks. Hey, is something up? You look .. I don't know, kind of pale?" I stuttered as I said: "No, no.. I. I'm good." He nodded, but looked supecious. "I swear. I'm fine." He frowned, then turned around and went into the bathroom again to get clothes on.
A couple of minutes later he came out fully-dressed, "So, you ready or what?" He asked.
I shrug my head, and let out a small laugh, "So, what do you even want me to help you with? I mean it's not like i'm alot of help, and I haven't forgotten what you almost did to me." I said. Tyler was silent for a moment, and hesitated before answering, "You. You're kind of the only one I got right now, so." He stopped, and there was an akward silence. He was all he got. I mean everyone else is basically turning his back on him, for good reason though. And somehow even after everything he'd done, he still felt a bit sorry for him. "I, i'm sorry." Tyler suddenly said. The silence came back, until he broke it again, "There- I said it. I'm sorry, I know what I did was. Wrong. I mean i always sort of knew it was but you made me realise just how wrong it was. How wrong it is, and that's why i'm here. To make myself better. Be myself again." I looked him directly in the eyes, then hesitated, "You're forgiven.. Sort of," i teased. He let out a sigh that sounded like relieve. "So we should get going?" He asked.
"Yeah, lets do this."
We had my families friends' basement, even though it wasn't nearly as big as the one in Mystic Falls, Tyler said it would be fine. I grabbed the chains from his bag, "You ready?"
He sighed, "N..N-o." His voice was fragile. He turned around in embarrasment, "Hey man, it's ok." I said, feeling slightly sorry for him. As he turned back to look at me he was smiling, "Thanks." There was a long, and slightly annoying silence while I helped him getting the chains on, "So. You really love her, huh? I mean. You must. This isn't just something you normally do for just anyone." I said, trying to make conversation. He sighed, "Yeah. I do."
Tylers POV:
I did, love her. But lately I was sort of doubting if she loved me back. I watched Jeremy as he chained me up, he looked like he was thinking about something, "Is something up with you? You've been kind of.. Different, lately." Suprisingly a small laugh slipped out of Jeremys mouth. It made me smile too. "What is it?" I asked, feeling stupid for smiling at nothing. Then I realised how long it'd been since I'd last smiled. Too long. And Jeremy being the one who makes me smile for the first time in such a long time, confused me- "It's just - the way you worry about me lately, what's up with you?" He asked. I was speechless. "Uh. Just wondered, I mean you looked like you were thinking about something, something important."
I said still feeling weird about what he'd just said to me. "Yeah. Well - if you must know - I just talked to my sister, and she seemed kind of upset, I think something's up. Something with Alaric." He said. "Alaric? And what should that be?" I asked, "I don't know- I dont, but.. I just have this bad feeling, I guess." I nodded still slightly confused. "There- Done," he said. "So, what do we do now?" He asked.
