The warm breeze in the darkening summer evening swirled around Charlie, always following. Harry's presence was always close by, always just too far out of his reach,

Your memories so clear
He could almost feel Harry; his breathe tickling the back of his neck just so. Everything reminded Charlie of his fallen lover.

As he stood, high in the Astronomy tower, the still surroundings growing dimmer and stars becoming brighter, he strained his ears to listen. There was no sound, not one, yet Harry's voice rang clear.

Harry was his, but had been dead for five years. Today would have been his twenty first birthday. The land Charlie now looked upon was land Harry died protecting. Those living in that time were safe, but the victory wasn't as sweet without Harry. Charlie was half a person, a shadow, without his soul mate.

Was Harry there? Charlie looked up, his eyes questioning the heavens above him. Forever. They thought they had forever.
