Ryou Bakura x Reader ~ Storm
You and your white-haired companion analyzed the weather conditions on the television.
"Thunderstorms are headed towards these areas." The meteorologist listed seven different areas and, unfortunately, Domino City was one of them.
The sound of the rain grew louder and louder with every passing minute. You weren't afraid of a lot of things but storms definitely defied that list. Hearing the weather man going into detail about the conditions, you began to tense up with each word.
Ryou already knew about your fear, so he moved closer to your slightly trembling body. You put your legs across his lap and rested your head on his shoulder. Just then, the flash of lightning could be seen through the closed blinds and a loud clap of thunder followed behind it. Your heart skipped a beat and you let out a whimper. You quickly closed your (e/c) orbs and latched onto Ryou even more.
He wrapped his arms around you tightly, "Don't worry (Y/N), It's going to be over before you know it." Ryou tried to reassure you but you shook your head.
You felt warm tears trickle down your face. 'How long will I have to endure this?' is what kept circling around your head.
Through times like this, the white-haired teen knew distractions worked wonders. He began talking about random things to keep your mind off the passing storm.
A few minutes after Ryou stopped rambling, he began singing to pass more time. The sound of his soothing voice slowly relaxed you. Before you knew it, you drifted off into a deep slumber.
He covered the both of you in a blanket. Ryou placed a kiss on your head and lightly stroked your (h/c) hair. "You know I'll always protect you (Y/N)."
