Sakura just needs a bowl of ramen, a glass of water and a nap.
She just needs to take a quick break, and then she'll function properly again.
"Sakura, who should I pick between Kiba, Sai and Shikamaru?"
Sakura sighed, rolling her eyes.
"I don't know, Ino. I told you that yesterday."
Ino glared, but quickly smiled again.
"Oh, that's okay. I'll just ask you tomorrow, promise to think about it?"
"If I have time, Ino."
Ino smiled, taking that as a yes.
"Sakura, Naruto... Naruto as-asked me out. W-wh-at should I wear?"
Sakura glared, looking up from her papers to meet Hinata's nervous gaze.
"Remember that red dress Ino gave you for Christmas? That, he likes red."
"Thank you Sakura. I'll tell you how it went."
Sakura snarled, rolling her eyes as she continued to read through the contract.
"Sakura?"
A deep sigh.
"Yes, Miss Shizune?"
"There's more paperwork, if that's okay with you."
Add a cheesy smile.
"That's fine, just put it down anywhere."
"And Lady Tsuande has a mission for you. You're escorting-"
"Understood, just give me the papers for it and I'll look them over."
"Ok, thank you, Sakura."
Sakura sighed again, another late night.
She was supposed to be a ninja, a kunoichi and yet she was stuck doing paper work and lousy escort missions.
And she had to think about which guy would be best for Ino.
Then she would have to hear about Hinata's date, even though she really doesn't care.
She'll most likely have to clean the house and wake up early the next morning training academy ninjas.
With another heavy sigh she continued working on her paper work.
She clutched her chest weakly as her breathing constricted.
Another passing panic attack? Or something much worse?
She quickly healed herself, relaxing into her chair until her breathing began to even.
"And back to work."
Well, it wasn't exactly horrible.
It kept her mind off of two missing-nin.
If Valora was here she would save her from her boredom.
And Sasuke would make everything 100x better.
But no, they left.
And she was stuck here doing stupid- Oh. She's done.
She stood up stretching her tired limbs before heading home.
"Sakura!"
She paused, faking a smile as a familar kunoichi approached her.
"Yes, Tenten?"
Tenten froze, her eyes wide with fright.
"Oh it's nothing it's just uh..."
She kept looking at something behind Sakura, but the pink-haired ninja kept her gaze forward.
"Actually, I forgot. I really have to go, sorry."
Sakura raised a delicate eyebrow, but otherwise ignored her friend's strange behavior.
"Sakura!"
Nope, keep walking.
"SAKURA!"
She doesn't hear a thing.
"SAKURRRAAAA!"
She turned around, her fist balled.
"What?!"
"Is that any way to treat your best friend?"
Oh.
She's imagining things again.
"Aww, now you're not answering me? That's mature."
With added stress comes added mess, wasn't that what Tsuande told her?
Yeah... it was.
Mess in the mind, mess in the life.
"Fiine, be that way!"
Ah, home.
Finally.
She took a step inside, a smile on her face at seeing the house still clean.
"Father? I'm home."
"Sakura!" Her orange-haired father came down the steps, smiling at his daughter.
"How are you doing?"
"Tired, I could really just use a nap."
"Well your bed is still made."
She smiled, closing her eyes slightly before walking up the steps.
Now, she just had to look over her mission papers.
"We are good on supplies for now, Lady Tsuande. How is your village-"
No.
She had signed the wrong papers.
She had written back, private information at that, to the one who giving her the mission.
No.
Her breathing quickened and she clutched her chest, her eyes rolling in the back of her head.
"Da-ad. Ino... Te-Tenten."
She closed her eyes, her heart seemed to freeze in place.
Her first heart attack.
At age 16.
Good for her.
